@buck9393 While it's true that Yun's damage output pales in comparison to other characters, his advantage is that he can open up the opponent to actually land those combos. Ryu, for instance, doesn't have nearly as many opportunities to land huge combos/pressure. For Yun in AE, he can pressure you until you press a button, and once you do, you lose life. Again, his nerfs in 2012 will balance that out, hopefully. I don't care either way though, I main Ibuki and she actually does OK vs Yun.

This doesn't apply to ALL characters, and it's not like it's universal. For this particular character though, the slight lack of damage isn't a problem. If, say, THawk got his damage nerfed, then there would definitely be a problem.

@SithLordRagnos Yun basically loses his divekick pressure game (height restriction is much higher now) and a lot, if not all of his usually annoying safe blockstrings are no longer safe (first 2 hits of TC are now punishable, EX Lunge is now -1 instead of +1). They also increased upkick startup across the board, reduced meter/damage/stun/chip on palm, and reduced Genei-Jin by a full second. tl;dr Yun got hit by the nerfbat. Probably not the WORST character, but not close to the best anymore.
