Lord Pearson is the right man for the Job. No doubt UKIP will gain it's first Westminster representation at the next elections. 10% + for UKIP is a very realistic goal I think.

A vote for UKIP is a vote for Freedom and Democracy. Voting for Lib/Lab/Cons is a vote for a undemocratic Federal European Superstate.

Im an american and don't know your english politics well.....do you expect to stop the loss of your independence with the UKIP? We're battling it out here in the states and there is a ray of hope that we can succeed in stoping the socialist agenda, but i also realize we're in a much stronger position than britian is. How hopeful are you guys over there?

UKIP has a good chance of getting into Power. However, it will take some time, since the British electoral system advantages the 2 largest parties (Conservatives and Labour) bigtime. However, UKIP is growing. And with Lord Pearson, we'll broaden our programme and attract new voters. Besides of leaving the EU, we will now also focus more on stopping mass-immigration, lowering taxes and introducing direct democracy.

I think that within 10-20 years UKIP could be the biggest British Party.

thanks for the comments and info! I wish you guys the best for both our sake. I just hope you guys can get into power before the bottom falls out. The pound is looking pretty shaky. I'd hate to see the english economy collapse and have people blame it on free market capitolism so they can enact further gov. control and finish the UKIP for good.

I'm surprised to hear you think Britian is in a better place regarding personal freedoms. If you can think of any reasons that support this idea send them my way.

I hardly think us having Obama for the next three years is enough to say all hope is gone. We can elect representatives that actually have the power to write legislation, unlike britian who has everything come down from big big brother in brussels. Britian is hardly sovereign anymore. Thats hardly a case for its freedom.
