I'm definitely going to have to see this because Wu Jing is awesome. The last movie i saw with him was badass and then suddenly turned tragic. This looks like it might at least be leading up to tragedy. I'll enjoy the badass moments. The whole 'Chinese can't have a happy ending' thing is getting old now. It's more of a surprise when things DO end well.

This movie was awesome. peopke just because some martial artist use wire doesn't mean they suck. they use wire to make some moves look cool and they use for they won't get hurt. jet li use it because he had a accident long ago on his legs and the doctor said that if he mess up his leb again he can train no more. jet li was real martial artist. yeah he use wire but on not that much. u could tell when a person use a wire.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of martial arts films, I liked Ong Bak alot and Ip Man was outstanding, but this does look really interesting. I don't think I would say he's better than Tony Jaa or Donnie Yen (not even fair to compare imo), but the plot and story telling look fantastic and you don't usually get that with good martial arts films (Ip Man being an exception). I look forward to seeing this when it comes.

Wu Jing's fight with the Big Guy took 8 days to complete under the hot sun while Donnie Yen's fight in Ip Man,rehearsing a fight scene,he was injured when an axe wielder accidentally slashed the side of his left eye. He also admitted to having a masseur on set as he could not physically raise his shoulder for the fight scenes.

Do your research before saying "There's plenty of actors that cope fine under pressure, making them a pleasure to watch and easy to 'respect'."

well that's just a small and insignificant part of the movie. and he died (at least i think that's what the movie is hinting) at the end after he finished fight the last guy, it's suppose to be a tie. and this movie is a piece of modern wuxia, in which martial skills is the means by which people conduct rightful acts. so fighting is a tool, and the main point, and that's the different between a chinese wuxia movie, and a western action movie.

Nope, it looks terrible. The stunts and choreography look aweful, the fight scenes don't seem plausible. Don't get me wrong, I love a good chinese martial arts film, but this doesn't seem like one of them. I would recommend films like Ip Man or Drunken Master as a great martial arts film.

If u don't like it..Don't watch it..Simple as that..Respect the fact that they do hard work for these movies..Different people have different ideas of executing it..It's not easy to maintain a good form of fighting while u are facing 100 people in the set..Imagine if u are in his place..I bet u can't do it either..Most of the fight scenes Wu Jing did not use wire stunts..

If you can't cope with a 100 people on set, then you're not good enough...simple as that! There's plenty of actors that cope fine under pressure, making them a pleasure to watch and easy to 'respect'.

The movie was directed by him. Basically u are dissing him indirectly. Its not that i lacked faith in him but felt its not easy to execute such fights. If u r not in his position as to follow path of stardom,then respect the fact that he's doing his job. U have no right to comment "it look terrible n so on." True that, Donnie Yen's movements are MUCH smoother than Wu Jings. Ip Man was indeed a good movie. Wu Jing's move's seem a bit "choppy" at some times, while Donnie Yen's movements seem fluent and accurate and he looks like he knows what he's doing :D
