haha thanks, yeah us stang drivers tend to overestimate our cars sometimes, 280hp isn't quite the staggering number it used to be anymore. I don't have the car anymore though.
@chevyman95 ....not me I don't think my 2 valve gt is fast its ok but nnot fast..maby its cause I owned a v6 before and I'm used to these stangs ...but I hate top end it really is a dog stock..and bolt ons do the trick..somewhat
haha maybe, its a love it or hate it sound in my opinion, I like it a lot but it does tend to be a little raspy for some. Sadly I sold the car to a friend so it's not mine anymore, oh well
how did u shift to 2nd and 3rd with spinning your tires i cant ever do it at high rpms like that i have a 2000gt with 3.73 im thinkin its the stage 3 clutch i have though
I always turn the traction control off because all it does it cut the power to the motor when it senses the wheels are spinning. I put more trust in my driving ability to correct a mishap than a computer that cuts throttle. Besides 95% of the time my wheels are spinning it's because I want them too. haha
yeah I definitely like it. Gets a little tiresome on long (45+ min) freeway trips but worth it. I had a little trouble getting the pypes brand x to fit correctly but all is good with it now.

Could you tell me the difference and or hp gains/loss between catted and catless? because catless 0/r pipes are almost 1/3 of the price of the cated.

is that your check engine light on?
drewsterm7 1 year ago
@drewsterm7 yup, happens when you take off the cats for the x pipe, got to get some MIL eliminators or take it out in the tune

NahuntaSubFoamer5115 1 year ago
@NahuntaSubFoamer5115 Just the x-pipe and some flowmaster 40 series mufflers
chevyman95 1 year ago

cruzmach1 2 years ago
not sure, just the 2 chamber flowmasters, they were on the car when I got it
chevyman95 2 years ago
How much this all cost you bro?
unconcealed 2 years ago
I think around $150-175 for the x pipe, I did the install myself and the flowmasters where already on it.
chevyman95 2 years ago
@chevyman95 will it sound terrible with dual exhaust and no xpipe?
analmunkey 1 year ago
On the before part of the video. is that all you had was the series 40 mufflers?
kch89naz 2 years ago
yes, stock manifolds, stock h pipe, into flowmaster 40s
chevyman95 2 years ago
yes just the 40's, kind of sounds a little meaner than it was because it was echoing in the garage.
chevyman95 2 years ago

LollipopGanjster 3 years ago
Its more than likely the 3.73s. My gearing is stock at 3.27 so it doesn't pull quite as hard as your car would.

mustangs got traction control in 2001 meaning since he has it, he will have less wheel spin off the line. try sticker tires
