  • Dam that needle takes forever to climb up

  • 420!

  • @ analmunkey ford mustangs gt come stock with dual pipes

  • chevyman have a mustang wtf

  • Could you tell me the difference and or hp gains/loss between catted and catless? because catless 0/r pipes are almost 1/3 of the price of the cated.

  • is that your check engine light on?

  • @drewsterm7 yup, happens when you take off the cats for the x pipe, got to get some MIL eliminators or take it out in the tune

  • Nice sound

  • Awesome Mustang! Sounds fantastic.

  • damn good call goin with the pypes

  • I have a camaro but I would drive this too. Thumbs up!

  • This is the most beast sound i've ever heard on a Mustang!

What all did you have to put on to make it sound like this?

  • @NahuntaSubFoamer5115 Just the x-pipe and some flowmaster 40 series mufflers

  • i have a question. does a cat back exhaust give that snap crackle pop sound when ur reving it? or is that the flowmasters?

  • @mervie17 the x pipe makes it raspy and pop

  • Nice mileage on the trip meter......

  • hey man i was wondering if it smells horrible without the cats on it. because im going back and forth on it. let me know

  • @FordsBetter516 No noticeable change, sorry it took me so long to answer

  • why are you driving a mustang when your name is chevyman95

  • @jsk8drummer haha I strayed

  • textbook clutch slip on the 1-2.... puuuuurfect.

  • i just got 2001 GT with 43kmiles on it.

  • same setup on my 04 Saleen...awesome sound....nice car!

  • I declair this sound to be the trademark of how all mustangs should sound.

  • haha thanks, yeah us stang drivers tend to overestimate our cars sometimes, 280hp isn't quite the staggering number it used to be anymore. I don't have the car anymore though.

  • @chevyman95 ....not me I don't think my 2 valve gt is fast its ok but nnot fast..maby its cause I owned a v6 before and I'm used to these stangs ...but I hate top end it really is a dog stock..and bolt ons do the trick..somewhat

  • the after sounds like a mix of a ricer and a muscle car... no offense maybe it was the way u were revin like a ricer??

  • haha maybe, its a love it or hate it sound in my opinion, I like it a lot but it does tend to be a little raspy for some. Sadly I sold the car to a friend so it's not mine anymore, oh well

  • Which flowmaster 40s are these?

  • not sure, just the 2 chamber flowmasters, they were on the car when I got it

  • How much this all cost you bro?

  • I think around $150-175 for the x pipe, I did the install myself and the flowmasters where already on it.

  • @chevyman95 will it sound terrible with dual exhaust and no xpipe?

  • On the before part of the video. is that all you had was the series 40 mufflers?

  • yes, stock manifolds, stock h pipe, into flowmaster 40s

  • yes just the 40's, kind of sounds a little meaner than it was because it was echoing in the garage.

  • after you take off the cats, can you ever take off that service engine light?

  • get some mil eliminators or o2 extensions

  • ^^^ what he said. You can also get a hand held tuner and turn the light of as well

  • drop a 5.4l block on it thats wat i have i will sound way louder

  • haha I wish. Maybe one day

  • no, just get a 4v with forged internals.. then hah thats what i wanna do to mine

  • how did u shift to 2nd and 3rd with spinning your tires i cant ever do it at high rpms like that i have a 2000gt with 3.73 im thinkin its the stage 3 clutch i have though

  • Its more than likely the 3.73s. My gearing is stock at 3.27 so it doesn't pull quite as hard as your car would.

  • Comment removed

  • mustangs got traction control in 2001 meaning since he has it, he will have less wheel spin off the line. try sticker tires

  • I always turn the traction control off because all it does it cut the power to the motor when it senses the wheels are spinning. I put more trust in my driving ability to correct a mishap than a computer that cuts throttle. Besides 95% of the time my wheels are spinning it's because I want them too. haha

  • true true

  • You did a pretty good job driving like that whilst holding the camera lol. Did you change your gears? it looked like it pulled pretty well

  • yeah I held the camera and the wheel with my left hand and shifted with my right. Thanks

  • yeah I definitely like it. Gets a little tiresome on long (45+ min) freeway trips but worth it. I had a little trouble getting the pypes brand x to fit correctly but all is good with it now.

  • nice vid im trading in my v6 for the gt and most definietly going with the xpipes just sound so much more agressive
