-Kojiro Mikusa is in Triple Trouble's credits but not Masayuki Nagao.

-Saori Kobayashi, who mainly does sound effects, is also credited in TT.

I think Mikusa was the original composer, and the version we hear in TT is Yayoi Wachi's arrangement.

I find this a better key for the song. (G instead of D Flat) But the lower key in the actual zone fits the setting more. A lower key for a darker place. It just makes sense.

It's not used in the game because there was originally going to be a sonic 2-ish like ending for the game but it was cut from the game for unknown reasons.

Also, even better, it's a slightly up-pitched version of Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble's Sunset Park Act 3's music (which that song is my favorite in the game and one of the best in the entire Sonic series and DEFINITELY the best in the Sonic 8Bit series.) And that ALL changed to this being one of the best, if not THE best, song in the Sonic series!

Again, I heard only the first 22 seconds (yeah, 22 seconds, not 15) in another video (Awesome Sonic Gamegear Music) at 4:47 in that video.
