I thought Benny Hill ended its run in the late 80's which I guess fits with the timeline when she would appear with Jerry Seinfeld as the 30-something virgin girlfriend. It's good that she got the role of Daphne Moon; I can't imagine anyone else playing that role as aptly as her. Benny Hill was a pure sleaze ball though. I guess I was too young to appreciate the humour.

@NYJALB Funny you mention "Frasier." I saw the episode last night where Duke's Bar was getting torn down, and at the end Daphne came from a date with the "perfect gentleman." Then everyone sees the back of her clothing shredded to pieces, and Frasier says, "In England it must be the 4th date." I automatically thought Benny Hill when I saw her shredded clothes LOL.
