  • I did not know that! I always thought the Cherokee Cowboys were the first with drums back then. Interesting how Hank Williams is making a comeback through artists like you. I think it kind of brings back that feeling that Hank gave his audiences back then, and today people who never saw him on stage maybe can get a glimpse of Ol Hank!

  • I think you sound a lot like Hank Sr. Only thing is, Hank didn't have drums in his band. Sorry, drummer. Try it without the drums!

  • @TheZagline Actually, Hank used drums in several incarnations of the Drifting Cowboys. They weren't easy to travel with and took up a lot of stage space, so many entertainers did without. The studio versions of "Moanin the Blues" and "Kaw-Liga" featured a drummer, and possibly "Move it on Over" although it isn't credited. This isn't my band (or Hank's). Just a bunch of musicians who got together to honor our hero. I wasn't going to tell the drummer he couldn't pay his respects to Hank that day.

  • good job, Jake!

  • Jake, you did a great job, I was there!!

  • Not a very good singer or imitator.

  • @BubbaBoy611 I'm sorry you disapprove of this. If you don't like it, don't watch, but don't insult me unless you can do better.

  • Jake you are wonderful!!!! Do you have a CD out? I would love to buy one if you do.

  • great job C:

  • I like!

  • With a performance like that in his rendition you wouldn't/shouldn't have to worry that Hank 2 or Hank 3 might walk in.......... and "Old" Hank would be proud.
