i read the vampire diaries and elena from book looks nothing from the show.

1.elena in the book has blond hair and blue eyes and elena from the show is a brunette. 2. stefan from the book reminds me off edward cullen from the twilight books. 3. Damon in the book is still damon but in the books is damon described as a more powerful vampire then in the show. i mean he controls the weather he is a shape shifter he can fly. he is like superman in the book. and he is more powerfull then stefan.

i second that, but the reason why i like VD so much is because it isn't like twilight...well at least the books are not(in my opinion)

and just to say it out(or write^^)aloud....i love twiligh!!!!t but it's absolute bullshit if stephanie meyer says that she didn't, well *steal* from other vampire books....because she totally did...no offence^^

If you live in Canada though, its on CTV on Thursday nights (As the other people said, its also on the CW too), but its also on CTV around the same time depending on where you live.

I like twilight too, but this show was a book that was actually written in 1991, long before twilight;)
