The Thorn in my Heart series is so fantastic. LCH is incredably talented and humourous, and she pulls off Jacob/Rachel/Leah so beautifully. I always cry buckets!
I LOVE this interview! I don't know either why I'm so in love with Scotland, and don't know what to answer when people ask,"What's your deal with Scotland?"
I'm also a FBG thanking God for His grace! I admire your writings, especially the Scottish Historical Novels...keep on, my friend!
I wanted to see Ireland because my mother's people were scotch-irish. I always thought that meant we had Irish and Scottish ancestors. Later I read that the Scotch-Irish were Scots who settled the Ulster Plantation in the north of Ireland before getting discouraged and heading for the states.
@mariebcohoon Maybe somewhere in your background is a bit of Scottish heritage that call to your heart. I have a Scottish heritage through my Mum . I've only ever seen pictures/photos but it is a very beautiful land isn't it?
Yes, I'm sure I do have a wee bit of Scottish blood...also through my mum! My visit to Scotland has left a longing that I've tried to fill with anything Scottish I can aquire. However, there's nothing for it but to return someday for an extended tour and "get my fill"! It is the most enchanting and beautiful of lands, I hope you get to go there someday.
