Es increible la calidad que muestran estos grandes artistas de todos los tiempos. Alan Parsons, Andrew Powell, Ian Bairnson , Art Garfunkel, Wet wet wet; por mencionar a algunos. Mil gracias por publicar este bello momento.
The most beautiful moment of the song is when Ian Bairnson (the guitarist of The Alan Parsons Project) smiles to Art Gurfunkel (2' 56"). I really liked that.
I was actually there that evening, and for me, this was the highlight of the concert. Very emotional as well, I remember I cried like a baby when Art started singing, hehe...
50 years after the (Dutch) ending of World War 2, this concert at the foot of that famous bridge was a once in a lifetime experience. I'm glad I was there!
Thanks again for bringing a happy tear to my eye :-)

Great performance, damn that guy could sing. Does anyone remember about 10 years ago there was a benefit on Television with tons of famous bands and Garfunkel sang this song with just the piano. I can't find that video anywhere. It was a worldwide thing I believe.
Are you talking about the Prince's Trust Concert? I have that on video someplace. I didn't think he was going to hit the high notes, but he did, and apparently effortlessly. It was just amazing. Unfortunately I have no clue how to transfer my videos to the computer or what to do with them to get them on Youtube.
I don't think that was it, because that was back in the late 80's right? This was within the last 10 years, and I think Enya played for it also. It wasn't so much a concert as some sort of benefit on T.V. Can't remember what it was.
Alright, I think I found out which performance it was. It was back in 2002 and it was a 911 benefit on Larry King. Garfunkel sang this song, and I remember it was great and really stripped down. Does anyone have it?
About the best rendition Art ever did of that song.

Even after 16 years I get the same feeling as I had standing there.
There was no beter place to be then in Arnhem.

There is no official DVD. Or CD. But I know there is the bootleg DVD. It is made of SAT-rip. You can search "World Liberty Concert".

Can't someone post the video of Garfunkel performing on LARRY KING LIVE in 2001 (November)? Now THAT was an unbelievable performance!

Yeah, seriously, does anyone have that performance? This is my favorite "Art" song although it's not written by him.
