  • kool rockj notorious

  • 2pac-ambitionz az a ridah

    this sample

  • Was that Ice Tee in the red sweat shirt doing the Pee Wee dance.

  • These were the days. Music & life was so much more simpler.Yes we had crime, gangs, drugs, beef, ect. back in the 70's,80's 90's but it just seems to me we had a better up bringing from our parents, adults, & the law versus today's youth and music. I know the industry are the culprits behind promoting this fantasy of houses, bitches, money, cars, beef, murder, bling ect. but today's youth are so brainwashed when it comes to opening their minds up & listening to the 70's,80's,90's to discover great music.

  • @str8outtatexas1 Yep!! Cuz Back Then When Somebody Showed Us Old School Tracks From They Generation..At Least We Listened Payed Homage & Sampled The Fuck Out Of It...Nowadays They Just Like Fuck Us And Continue To Make Key Board Beats..As Long As The 808 Is Ringing They Don't Care What It Sounds Like...

  • if you aint rappin over break beats it aint hip hop

  • @BOX5 Not hypocrites.... Different times. Soulja Boy is new school punk. This old school. Just a different place and time. Soulja Boy is busy buying a jet he can't afford and throwing out songs that bang on US military. It is a free country and he can do what he wants, but there are consequences....

  • @KendallClements7 dude, for the record. Soulja Boy ain't SHIT!! He wish he could make a timeless classic like the Pee Wee dance. All he made was that Yoouuuuuu bullshit!! & I hate that song!!

  • type in "ski crashes" in the youtube search and click the video with stars in the title to be shocked!

  • 16 year old here, got really interested in hip hop up until the point where i lived and breathed it. because i was so into it i researched it alot, the history, the beefs, the pioneers, and the music obviously. todays stuff really cant compare to the old stuff, the 90's were the last good times for hip hop, although maybe the early noughties.

i dont understand how all these kids listenin to young money and eminem who claim to love hip hop dont do the same as me because this shit much better

  • Yo what was Ice T doing inthis joint

  • Ha its interesting D-Nice interviewed Joe Ski like a yr or two ago and Joe Ski basically said that Souljah Boy reminds him of him when he came out as a teenager with this dance song. He basically compared Souljah Boy to himself as a teenager...with all due respect to Joe Ski..the difference between you as a teenager and Souljah Boy is that you are actually rapping about something and know how to do it....Souljah Boy cant rap AT ALL... peace ta Joe Ski Love and hip hop

  • Chemical Brothers sampled the intro sound. Great track.

    WTF...

  • damn i hate the hell out of these days! i couldn't even concentrate to focus on my school work because i was disturbed by the new craze of wearing bootleg fashionable clothes for sport during very vital times! the imposing epidemic of crack cocaine were those times!!

  • Damn! Great catch! I never realized that! +1 for you!!! :)

  • it came out in '86... it was the hot jam that turned a lot of us urban kids onto hip hop back in the day. that and RUN DMC's "Raising Hell"

  • I thought this song was so WACK back in the day. Now I miss songs like this when I hear ignorance like 'stanky leg' .

  • Yeah Thats Joe from parkchester in the Boogie Down. Respect your elders.

  • Track is bonkers!

  • Ice T at 2:42, never noticed that before!

  • Pac jacked the drums for 'Ambitionz As A Ridah'. Some of the hardest drums ever.

  • yes indeed--quite an astute observation, theobserver317. 2Pac certainly rocked the same drums in that track. props to you on pointing that out. i've noticed that for years and i've never heard or seen anybody mention this until reading your post (maybe someone has before but i just haven't seen it). peace

  • oh lawd aint this a mess...LOL

  • OMG, it's Francis!

  • I think it is funny that Ice T is doing the 'Soulja Boy' dance at 2:42. LOL.

  • Soulja Bitch wasn't even alive when this song came out.

  • Yeah Soulja Bitch was an itch in his deadbeat dad's pants back then. Only if his daddy pulled out on time maybe we would have the eternal bliss of not hearing, "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!" right now...

  • Amen! Very smart observation! LOL!

  • wow lmao!

  • This is pretty much the best thing hip-hop ever produced.

  • not even close! this is a quality "one hit wonder" and thats it.

  • this is when rap dance was still cool . i was in foster care when this was a hit . from the n.o. to the b.r. long live the old school . Audio Joe's @ 225_288- joes

  • song's alright

  • god i feel young again and to batmanmmv i got it on mp3

  • Damn...The brothers could of at least wore matching gear!?!..lol

  • i think i can still do that dance too LOLROTF

  • No Guns...All Fun...that's what Hip Hop was intended to do make u wanna have Fun.

  • This brings back SO many memories.

  • it was ok song but the show and la di da di is the best

  • Does anyone have this song on an MP3??? I can't find it ANYWHERE! Please let me know.

  • Ha, the guy who plays the teacher was also in "Pee Wee's Big Adventure". The track is way before my time, but it's still better than anything on the radio these days.

  • you see youngins. our hip-hop dance songs had LYRICS & HOT BEATS all in one back in the day. this song is classic fire, unlike todays flip-flop songs like soulja boy and lil wayne who are wack.

  • speak on it son

  • Hate all you want... It was rocking and folks STILL rockin it and won't be phased by most they hear now.

  • Sorry Kapone G, but this is classic, and it was made at a time when "big beats" ruled hip hop. Although I understood where Ice T was coming from, he shouldn't have dissed Soulja Boy. Soulja Boy is doing exactly what Joeski Love did in this video; making a name for himself by starting a new dance.

  • At least he had lyrics to this.He sound a lot clearer than Soulja Boy

  • funny how ice T dissed soulja boy but he on this dumb shit dancing

  • I was noticing that too.

BTW Joe Ski at the time was a legend in our community when the industry was very limited in resource.

  • I heard about Ice T and Soulja Boy going at it, but I bet Ice T thought this was in the vault and was never going to be seen again. Not a chance when YouTube has all the classic ish on here!

  • This song will set a 30 and over party off...still jams to this day...dj played this at AAMU's HComing and the crowd went nuts.

  • u cant b 4real it will get the dj ass beats

  • you must be a teenager or something...believe me, this is/was the jam and looks like I am not the only who thinks so

  • I agree...if you go to a hole in the wall.

  • If they can crank Lil Wayne, they can crank this!!! This was the ish and it was fun. Back then, a good portion of rap was about having fun and battling to see who was the best rapper, NOT all this nasty mess they have now about hoes and b's. If a DJ plays this where I'm from, he's got a job here. If you got the GOOD old school music, you're in HIGH DEMAND and will ALWAYS be recommended for other things. A DJ may be missing out on some money if he/she limits themselves.

  • That's Nick Cannon!

  • WAS NICK CANNON EVEN BORN?

  • hahaha Look at 2:41 thats Ice-T in the red doing the dance!

  • J dilla Twister,Anti American Graphitti. HUH WHAT?!?!

  • OH MY! I SO remember this song back in the day, i've been trying to find this. THANK YOU for posting.

  • funkiest, dopest bumpin ass beat in fucking history.

  • I was 10 years old when this dropped Damn!! Lol look at Ice-t dancing.

  • haha wut a great song but... i still dont get how to do it...

  • 1985 Baby! Yeah. I was 12 yrs. old

  • i was 10 when this jam dropped in '85! it's still hot as ever!

  • old school flava never go sour
