Why isn't Christine crying or screaming? She seems like she's... I don't know, dead inside, incapable of showing emotion. Why'd Erik hug her back? With his life, he wouldn't know what a huh IS. Raoul is just... Just no. And when Erik was tying him to the gate, he just stood there. Who waits for someone to HANG them?

I really like this production, but I never though the Phantom should hug back when Chrstine kisses him because he's never really been hugged, also I feel he would be in awe of what she did. But, it works if he hugs her I guess, I've always thought of the Phantom being shocked of her doing this and wouldn't really know how to respond. Just my thought though.

The Phantom did well, but I'm not a fan of the Christine. She seems to be belting/screaming the high notes that aren't in her range. She also lacks emotion. . . but that's maybe her portrayal of the character.

This is actually really good, I'mimpressed. One thing, however, is that this is supposed to take place in France, and apparently anyone who's ever in Europe sings in an English accent, so when singing "murderer" you have to be taller and not chew the r's.

Also, I feel like some of the actors who aren't leads have the "I'm not that important, I don't have to really pull my weight" mentality, and it shows in their ability to keep tempo and how they sing and act.

Certainly, the phantom has a nice voice, but too much of a comical tone. The Raoul seems to young of a voice, and Christine's voice isn't responding enough emotionally.

The sets are good- unfortunatly, and I can say this because I performed this amazing show as my spring musical this year, there wasnt mcuh emotion in the scene- Christine didnt really show alot of the desperation to save Raoul's life or that she was angry with the phantom for betraying her and, because I played her, it was a little bit of a dissapointment to be to see her underplayed - other than the emotional context, very well done. this was my favorite scene to perform in the show !

Also, the biggest thing i've seen with most Phantom productions so far is the timing is terrible!!! When Phantom sings "This face which earned a mothers fear and loathing" is way to fast to convey any sort of emotion.

And then when the trio is singing their bit it is so painfully slow!

yuck.. the "for the sins which are yours" part was not done well. The noose should've been around his neck and tightened on "yours". also "do you send him to his grave" just looked silly. 6:31 Christine was kind of ahead and the actress knew it. 2 kisses? "go now and leave me" looked at him trying to ask them to stay.

this raoul sounds like a fairy...what the hell...amd the chorus must remember this is an opera...so use "opera tone"---more open voel shapes...also the same with christine...herpop slides were HORRIBLE!!! and ruined this scene along with rauol phantom was good finally something good...and i can say this necause my highschooldid this...i was Raoul. we di not have this kind of money, but talent on the stage as far as our christine and phantom...they killed it compared to anything else...and this

the christine is very good. Raoul is okay. I agree with TntJarrfan4life. his voice is pitchy. But as far as the phantom does, im kind of disappointed. Dont get me wrong, you did a great job. but as an actor, you leave a lot to be desired. The phantom as a character is very deep and complex with many emotions that he has to tackle throughout the show and he doesnt know to deal with it. as an actor, its your duty to show
