Main reason for less number of Buddhists are we never convert people by force. Only people who wants to know truth can come & experience buddhism. "Maithree Buddha" is not from SANDs. someone has misguided u. He'll be born in thousands of years in future.

Buddhism is 100% true religion. No one has proved any wrong teaching in Buddhism.

Why is Christianity the main religion in my country? Cause Christians in the past forced my people to believe and accept it, if they didn't they where executed. That is the harsh reality, the morals of Christianity in the past was horrible, the same goes for many religions. I hate religions like yours, the fact that they can make people kill in the name of it is outrageous. I am therefor an atheist without a belief system, Buddhists are also atheists, but with a belief system.

and in fact, saying that you are athiest implies that you have a belief system. If you had no belief system, then you would not even have a favorite color.

Yeah, in a psychological sense that's true. But I didn't mean that, I'm sure you got my point. Btw, Buddhists don't believe in a god, that makes them atheist by definition, or agnostics which all atheist really are. I just like the word atheist more.

I think you should research the deffinition of these terms.

Athiesm means the rejection of any belief in the existence of dieties.

Agnosticism is the acceptance of the claims of dieties but that deffinitions of such are impossible.

Because Buddists belive in karma and a carmic self, in a sort of pananthiest way, they cannot be athiest. It is also the truth that they do not reject the claims of other religions. Research the birth story of the Buddha, and also Divas. be aware of different sects

The morals of Buddhists is not much different from the Christians. Just look at the history of Buddhism, either in India, China, Vietnam or Tibet.  Among different sects of Buddhism, there have been always fightings, killings. constant power struggles even among the Buddhist monks.

Buddhists can be very violent. Even Dalai Lama admitted that another sect of Tibetan Buddhism sent killers to murder followers of his own sect, not to mention the horrible story of the famous Zen Master in TANG Dynasty was almost killed by an assasin sent by another zen master from his own temple.

The teaching of different religions has been freely interpreted and abused by human beings all over the world. However, we must be carefull not to blindly believe in any high monks, preachers, or so called prophets, but to carefully screen out the distorted version of different religious teachings, and to learn the original teachings of Jesus, of Buddha Shakyamuni, etc.

The assumtion you make that the masses are always right is also funny, cause you must know it doesn't hold water. The masses have had wrong countless of times, knowledge is everything, not who has the most opinions on their side. And your claim is extremely ignorant.
