Army National Gaurd swears in with the same Oath but you add 'Sate of whatever" so you say it separate from active duty members (Army active duty, Marines, Navy, and Airforce) It's easier to put people in a room with one sergeant rather than breaking them up in to branches I guess? I was sworn in last week and that's how they do it.
@1991jarhead ok bullet sponge i wouldn't expect you to know this but at most MEPS it goes by highest ranking officer at the current MEPS. I am national guard and was sworn in my lieutenant in the Coast Guard..
Airforce National Guard or Army National Guard?

@1991jarhead Doesn't matter what branch the officer is that swears the recruits in. Hell mine was coast guard and i'm Army infantry lol
