They are big teams, or will be and win stuff but that's because of outside owners cash coming in, like Blackburn, when they won the Premier they weren't the biggest club were they, despite having Dalglish, winning trophies and having top players like Shearer. Notts Forrest and Derby were punching above their weight thanks to Clough.

@mesi7 A big club is defined on many things, total club/business worth, fanbase, income, profit and history. Man United are by far and above anyone in England on that and have been certainly in my life time but I agree, further success from them coupled with good business sense, rebuiliding and stadium work several times, investment of the money earnt from the pitch has made it more so. Liverpool for example haven't quite used their 80's dominance so well.
