the death streaks now make spawn killing less good (painkiller gives you like 3 times normal health) so it's more interesting now, but yeah, if you join a game halfway through you either dominate or you get pwned

Yeah, I like the deathstreaks idea, and painkiller at least makes spawn killing less likely - although it doesn't matter when there's an AC-130 hovering overhead or the convenient spawn with your back to the enemy, ready to knife. And that's why I die a lot. Shitty luck. I can aim my damn gun and whatnot, but when it comes to spawns and luck o' the draw, it's never my day.
