does any one know if something like this will screw up the engin. I have something similar for mine but it seems to run lean. Any knowledge on this subject would be greatly appreciated
@zcar09 yes it would, you need a certain amount of back pressure on a four stroke you would be best to keep the stock baffle and spark arrestor on and just cut the spark arrestor so it is flush to the baffle, and keep the baffle on, you would add more hp, but not much, hope it helped.

Ok, i used to own a ttr, talked to the dealership about mods like your doing and they said those bikes arnt desinged for any modification. THERE BEGINNER TRAIL BIKES!!!! Buy a motocross bike, then you will notice a difference in power with mods.
you know that you can go to walmart and take one of their strainers fine grade take you silencer apart cut about an inch off and the attach it and its the same thing a state trooper checked mine out when i was at white rock and he thought it was a bought one. i did it because i needed to repack my silencer
i'm not wasting money on aftermarket parts just to make the bike a little louder, i could put a shit loud of stuff on the bike but its pointless. I'm selling it for a Bigger bike anyway

yeah, it makes a difference. if you want the same thing, for less money, just space out the spark arrestor with washers. put them in between your arrestor and the pipe. then drill a 1.5 inch hole on the top of your air box. a very noticeable power increase.
it almost sounds the same so no point of wasting your time on spar arrestor
