I had a question about the two hour limit. Is that two hours real time, or two hours in the resulting video? Does the frame rate (1 seconds versus 2 seconds) matter of affect this limit?
for Timelapse? Probably not, but im not sure I never tried that long. But you might be cutting it close. Cause I found that the battery life is not as good as I wish it was. its not that much of a problem but its died on me more times than I wish it would.
Wow, you managed to record quite a long time with a 2G memory card. Or maybe I'm just too stupid to even figure out how to work the recording thing. I recently bought (my very first) digital camera, the Canon PowerShot SD1100 and I'm still trying to learn all about it. So how did you do it? Tips for a beginner please? :D
This video was only about 30 min in Time Lapse mode but I edited a bunch of it out when i put it on youtube because it was boring haha, but I'm thnking you must be on the wrong mode when you are recording? With my 2gb card i can record 16min. of normal video, but on time lapse it can go to 506min when it takes a picture every second or 999min when it takes a picture every two seconds, however in time lapse it will only record for 120min tops.

goto video and hit the middle button aka the set button and scroll over to time lapse next to color swap
