  • lol ghana version of miss lolo

  • @gabemoneymaker

I just hate your lying nature. Such a flaming LIAR. First of, this is a remake of a Nigerian song by REX lawson RELEASED 1960. U make other Ghanians look bad when you come here & LIE. do u speak yoruba in Ghana? anyhow I back up what I say with facts. Type in "miss lolo by Meiway" into Youtube search. The guy IS NOT EVEN GHANIAN (just popular in Ghana) & he RELEASED his song 2006.. .now tell me how that is the same as Flavour's remake of a 1960 Nigerian song. SMH. U R CLUELESS

  • GHANAIN MUSICIS THE BEST EVEN DO A NIGERIA SANG IT

  • @cyrusweidehgar

SMH. I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE GHANIAN CAUSE NO GHANIAN IN HIS RIGHT MIND WOULD SAY THIS. AGAIN ORIGINAL IS BY REX LAWSON (NIGERIAN MUSICIAN) RELEASED 1960 ABOUT FIFTY YEARS AGO. YOU ARE JUST TRYING TO START AN POINTLESS ARGUMENT. I AM NOT A FACIST I JUST HATE LIARS. Next thing u'd say is Thriller is Micheal Jackson's version of a ghanian music.

  • That song rockin' bakoloba what dat mean LOL

  • hilarious! i cant tell any word he's saying but its got a groovy beat. totally danceable

  • @zacmaina he's talking about prostitutes

  • @nubianbelle HE has fortified the song, he has revived it's look and perfected it's touch. I would never have known Cardinal Rex Lawson Sawale if it were not for Flavour. Truly Kenyan speaking

The women dancing allowing men to kiss or touch there breast are not true definition of ashawo

That world ashawo is met for but men and women on the computer ages now hence every eye

Is wildly open Nineja is blessed with deferent tar lent keep on moving

  • This is not the version I saw on Channel O, is it really bad as you guyz are insinuating?

  • Flavour has revived a hit made famous by Rex Lawson, the Kalabari king of highlife, well done.

  • Ashawo means prostitute,

  • @Naijaa25 thanks, but can you say me more about this song. I'm french but i don't understand all. THANKS

  • @thiba91 ashawo en fait veut dire prostituée et c'est de ça il parle dans la chanson lol je suis francophone mais il n'y a que le mot ashawo que je comprend. Il arrive qu'on l'utilise dans ma langue :p

  • @bubblybubbly321 cool down, they only acting,i dont think after watching julia robert take her close in movies you arrived on the conclusion that she is `ashawo`

  • @papillo2007 but ermmm i do not care for julia roberts the fact is that she is ashawo for allowing a man kiss her breast if your daughter was to do tht wouldnt you judge her

  • fuck all of you dip shits muther fukers, sob, fucked up assholes who got nothing to lose

  • This song is fucking disrespectful. For those of you that dont understand, he is pretty much calling his "baby" a hoe. Ashawo means prostitute/slut/ho etc.

  • @loyanki the song has some ghanaian aspects in it. do your research and stop being shallow minded. i'm nigerian btw

  • Ghanias can lie....they always claim things that belong and originate from Nigeria..you guys really wanna be Nigerians.Give it up,the word Ashawo is a Nigerian word.

  • @loyanki i tire ooo lol hehehehe anybody hearing GMGoooooooooooo? lol listen ppl we are africans and share many similairites including words all theses ghanian bad belles should carry gooooooooooo

  • Excellent mix, Flavour

  • Nanakos. U are welcome. A lot of people here don't know highlife music. It started in Ghana and Nigeria took it to the next level. Rex Lawson a Nigerian sang Papa jolly entirely in Fanti, a Ghanain language, nonetheless it became big in nija. He also sang Ashawo which flavor combined with JA Adofo a Ghanain highlife mastro, beats Kofi Nkrabea, to give us his version of Ashawo. you can listen to Rex Lawson and JA Adofo's Kofi Nkrabea right on YouTube and be the judge. Well done Flavor.

  • Apperently two ppl are ashawo lol

  • vraiment cool

  • Guys, the best thing to do, is to ignore racist comments, because all racists have an inferiority complex, that has no cure

  • It's disheartening that 4 d most part, 9jas and Ghanians are making d comment by this zinedinezina d highest rated comment on this video.

His comments r baseless and w/o merrits. Regardless of d provocation, what evidence does he hv 2 back-up his claims, or is he just "speaking behind d keyboard", as he puts it.

This beautiful song and video deserves better representation on this medium.

  • @Ghanasentertainment1 what kind of language are you speaking? The way you're spelling d lyrics, who can understand what you're trying to say?

  • @herinfernalmajesty09 broken english

  • @Ghanasentertainment1 the lyrics you were spelling all wrong is THE IGBO LANGUAGE! U r clearly from ghana, if you're not nigerian, and you don't know how to speak igbo, then don't try. i know my language when i hear it. and i know exactly what broken english sounds like.

  • @herinfernalmajesty09 calm down the person tried their bast

  • Who sing the original version 4 this record?

  • LUV THIS SONG NIKAS

  • ashawo is ghanian isnt it?

  • @Syllovefashion Not necessarily. I think it a west african word. It highly used in both Ghana and naija when someone is calling someone a prostitute etc x

  • @Syllovefashion noo Ashawo is Nigerian. It means slurt

  • Flavor has done an excellent job here. for those of you are not into highlife, Ashawo was first sang by Rex Lawson, what flavor did was to take the vocals from Rex Lawson and combined it with another African great highlife king JA Adofo of Ghana beats in the song Kofi Nkreaba. the result was something both Ghana and Nigeria can cheer. As West Africans Highlife is our true identity. i am sick with 2face trying to sound like Luther Vandross. flavor please keep refining high life music.

  • @419isagame yaay i love this explanation !!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you =)

  • thanks bro you said it all

  • ASHAWO (PROSTITUTE)

  • can some1 hu undastands ibo plz explain to me wht he means?? coz i was quite baffled by the 'ashawo' part lol

i dont wanna be dancing to a song where women r bn referred to as ashawo lol

i still love the song tho...xxx

  • @temi106...ashawo is "whore", "prostitute", "lady of the night", "leg spreader"...and he makes comments about women pretty breasts and why a man should not only grab it, but he should suck it...like an orange. So take solace in the fact that when u dance it he is complementing you women that you are pretty, sexy and complete freaks. Note that he is asking you to drop it like it's hot, like snoop has preached b4...or "till the sweat drop down my ..." u know the rest...like ying yang twins rapped.

  • @kaluski u couldnt have said it any better!.especially the last part...lol

  • @temi106 hope your not guilty of your profession.

  • @olagerdollar wht yu on about now??!!!

  • i luv this shit!!!

  • u no gt flavour kwraa
