yeah you could to pretty much anything with it, but make sure you try it out first. btw i noticed that often times when you play guitars with emgs they don't sound very good, mainly because of the fact that the batteries are almost dead. just try it out and see if you like it.

Ordered this guitar a few days ago. Same thing here, didn't actually play it yet haha. I've played LP's before though and guitars with the same emg's and I like both and I've heard good things about this guitar. All your replies the main con is the access to the frets above 19th. Lets just SAY it had 22 like LP instead of 24. Would the access be the same then? Like, the cut-out is identical, no?

i am the proud owner of an epiphone g-310 cherry stain sg.

and i have to say, what i play through that thing outstands me everytime i take it out of its case.

i havnt played the prophecy guitars yet, but i dont like the fact that it doesnt have individual pickup controls.

Pro: I can play very easy and good with it.

It sounds great.

Con: it is a bit heavy and a bit out of balance, had to use a leather belt. and

frets over 19 are hard to reach if you play it while standing.
