Sound design was AWFUL- lack of background ambience, mediocre music and sound effects. Near the beginning at least, most special effects were awful. The jarring camerawork, slow-mo, and colour effects make this hard to watch. The ATV chase was disappointing but the boat chase was quite good, both are rare in this type of film and welcome inclusions. There is also a lack of set-up; the interrogation would have been a good place to put this in. Overall, lots of effort, like the beginning and end.

@everybody talking about grenades. Grenades produce shrapnel (chunks of cast iron steel) so it all depends on how close you are to it, it could take off a chunk of your arm or leg or just stick into your skin they are not as lethal as many may think. just saying

Continuing my last comment... Grenades don't make people dissapear or get blown into tiny chunks... That's artillery. But anyways. Grenades arent powerful enough to do that, even in real life. Most of the body remains, there is just a large hole, or missing body parts where the grenade exploded. Sasquatch out.

@TheBeastlyer I partly agree with both of you. Grendades are VERY powerful and dangerous. I was watching a documentary on the vietnam war and a squad was under fire from 2 VC in a fox hole. one of the soldiers threw a grenade and afterwards they walked up and I quote from the soldier "It must've landed right in the fox hole because there wasnt much left besides his shredded uniform and some of his body parts. But usually grenades do not do that and the shrapnel and concussion kill you.

It's not the gun powder that kills, but the metal beads. Thus, a grenade doesn't have enough firepower to blow you into bits, since it's not what it's designed to function. Just wanted to share this general knowledge with you.

Generally awesome! Love the filming for one; you had so many cool elements included most people can't get a crack at (like the boat and ATVs, along with a whole forest area). If I may ask what program you used, I noticed the muzzle flares were decent but you could definitely have used a few elements along with the blood splatters, which were FANTASTIC! First is to add a bit of smoke for an environmental effect and if possible add a bit of an illumination effect from the muzzle flash for another

Where did you get your props?! Really well done, I love the scope scene. And the props and costumes are all really, really well laid out. And the effects are quick, and to the point and look really well composited. Might I suggest that you color correct after you put in your muzzle flashes? It makes it look A LOT more realistic, but I loved the grenade explosions, were those actual charges or just assets? Either way, loved it! I made a COD short too! Check it out!

Dude, that was pretty awesome! The only thing is, you should probably work a little bit better on the effects but costumes and storyline and all that stuff, it's just awesome! This short film is pretty damn good! But yeah I agree with some of my fellow YouTube patrons, the grenade explosion shots between boom and no boom should be merged some more, and add some splatter, we have alot of blood in the human body.
