he did make polys, he created shapes around visible shapes on the flat images, using the tools in sketchup, then extruded them and saved it.

I am but you definately need Maya or some other all around program such as 3ds max for animateing and other stuff, sketchup is just too klunky for that kinda work.

yes, you can make the objects move (I made a Kar98k reload, .Sketchup model used for my first attempt) - but iClone converts to .vns, which is not compatible with anything but iClone. Yes Sketchup models can be used in games, but because they have 2 faces, the model is bugged and cannot be smoothed either. So a bit pointless...

Well, so basicaly you got a basic shape then imported a image into it then extruded some surfaces to make it look more realistic? INGENIOUS- where did u get the pic

I have had I clone for a while but had no idea I could import sketchup models into it. Is this only for sketchup Pro? It would be awesome If I could put sketchup models into I clone! Please help!
