@Jacobrester Because generally Chuck Berry had by far the most influence of any of them. You don't hear the Stones or the Beatles or AC/DC or whoever covering Bill Haley, Ike Turner or Little Richard's songs.

You are right about him not being the first (Turner and Haley started in 1951) but his influence was the greatest.
