That guy driving makes great ice.
And yes, they do collect a lot of ice, about one to three tons are collected and dumped into the ice pit,depending on how far the blade goes down and how many resurfacers we use.

your so right murph but it can depend on what ZAMBONI or OLYMPIA ice resurfacer model you have. ( zize )
for instance how sharp your cutting blade is makes a lot of diferance as you would know. and what angle the blade is set to. also the speed of the augers can make a bit of differance aswell.
