I remember withdrawing, trying to find a vein and couldnt i started to cry, bleeding feeling helpless. That was the first time I prayed and he came. I went into rehab and after a couple of weeks, with my head clear I looked at my body and thought 'WHO THE HELL HAS DONE THIS TO ME!' you get in so deep you dont realise what youre doing. I started heroin when I was 16 just smoking then injecting. Im now starting a relationship with god, he was the only one who came to help me when I needed someone.
great movie, i´m en ex-user to. also grown at my grandmas. same addiction problems, same drug way. but now after 15years and a long time therapy i start to living life kind of normal. this is hard work for an addict and life will never be the same, after you have been addicted. so please stay away of drugs, the are ruining your life, and what is worst the ruining you brain and your way of thinking even your personality.
Nice to see another person posting here. I was just curious and put heroin recovery in the search box lol. I'm a recovering heroin addict too. I used heroin for 9 years and have been sober for almost six. I'm 33 years old and have just begun to live life where most people start at 20 years old. I'm in college now and life is good. I never thought I would get off of it and expected to die early as an heroin addict. Life is good now. Very good. For anyone out there struggling, dont give up!!!!

Wha? Why did god let you become an addict in the first place? Any empirical evidence that this god "came to help [you]"?
