I do understand if you are just starting out from what you say your business is prety young. It is really hard to start a business and I wish your company the best in these hard times. But the UFC is one of the best and strongest companies arround, its able to dish a little bit more than what Tito is metioning. In short the UFC is big business these days and should treat its fighters with respect, as their carrers are prety short.

I fight for free currently...lol. I'm just an amateur, its only a hobby for me but all it takes is getting your arm turned inside out with any armbar or getting it broken with a kimura to burn up 10 grand pretty quick
I have the best health care there is so paying for that wont be an issue. I do fight as well, love the arts. But these guys do it for a living even if they are beginning, I know these guys have great muscle memory and cardio with that training. Well who knows I am prety good, and been fighting all my life.
My health coverage is great but doesn't cover competition. I got away with it at first but they went back and changed to not cover it, except for an extra fee with isn't even worth it at all. LOL, i'd love to be able to fight as a pro but the monetary sacrifice I see the guys at my gym go through isn't all that appealing. I'll stick to running my business and fighting for fun.
I understand they don't get a lot of pay but Tito has to understand that MMA is not yet as big as boxing. That is the reason boxers get tons of money, UFC is getting a lot more popular...so maybe in a couple of years Dana will pay the fighters what they deserve.

My employees of my small business are always coming up with brilliant ideas like "cmon dude, you gotta make mad cash off of us, we deserve more money yo" yet they don't realize i'm almost 2 million dollars in debt and haven't had a paycheck in 2 years. I do understand if you are just starting out from what you say your business is prety young. It is really hard to start a business and I wish your company the best in these hard times. But the UFC is one of the best and strongest companies arround, its able to dish a little bit more than what Tito is metioning. In short the UFC is big business these days and should treat its fighters with respect, as their carrers are prety short.

The fact is, these guys make more in the ufc than anywhere else yet still bitch. Almost all fighters don't complain because they are happy with it, for instance rashad evans makes maybe a few hundred thousand per fight, but will make over 1 million in sponsership $ this year, Their stability and pay are top dog right now.

One thing I do agree with though regardless of anything else and i'm sure you feel the same is that, while i don't feel sorry for whiny millionaires like tito i do think the undercard guys should be getting like 10k to show and 10k to win bare minimum. I know boxing pays even lower than mma for undercard fighters but I think that would be the least they could do. I hope the days of guys fighting for 3 and 3 are over soon, i know that min. number is going up a bit from what i've seen lately tho

I have the best health care there is so paying for that wont be an issue. I do fight as well, love the arts. But these guys do it for a living even if they are beginning, I know these guys have great muscle memory and cardio with that training. Well who knows I am prety good, and been fighting all my life.

My health coverage is great but doesn't cover competition. I got away with it at first but they went back and changed to not cover it, except for an extra fee with isn't even worth it at all. LOL, i'd love to be able to fight as a pro but the monetary sacrifice I see the guys at my gym go through isn't all that appealing. I'll stick to running my business and fighting for fun.

Thats 1.36 million more then he stated. Not including the governments tax break of 40k per million, giving him another 320k. So all said and done he got roughly 5.68 million. Still highly underpaid compared to pulling 30 million for 1 fight out of an 11 year career.
These figures are rough but very close and do not include his sponsors payments to him.

Everyone pays taxes Tito! Your house, food and training are your living expenses, not the UFC's. The UFC didn't tell you where to live, how to train or what to eat, so they don't have to compensate for that. You can't include those expenses in your salary. I hate this dumb bitch.
