The Song at 2:08 is from Lawrence of Arabia. Composer Maurice Jarre.(Jean Michel's dad) 35th. Oscar Best Soundtrack 1962. All the songs used in the soundtrack are from Hollywood Academy Awards winners, that this year celebrated its 80th anniversary.

I thought the show was fantastic! The choreography of music set to the fireworks truly made the show. Thanks for the explanation of music, now I understand why the songs were chosen! The show was an emotional experience and it takes alot for me to get stirred. I think the soundtrack from my favorite movie "Out of Africa" is what got me going..almost cried. Thanks for a beautiful show and what I think was the best New Years Eve performance in the world! Loves you Seattle!
