To all who say "WAAAT!?"...
The ball merely skimmed through the top layer of water before encountering the opposite bank of the creek, bouncing it out and into the hole. The water did not apply enough resistance to slow the ball down to the point that it may not get into the hole or be lost in the creek.
This was an excellent putt, I must admit.
