My Rig will Be Asus P5Q SE/R Q9550 @ 2.83ghz 4gb Ram 500GB WD HD Getting Geforce 9800GTX Video Card Current Rig p4p800-vm Pentium4 @2.8Ghz 2gb Ram Geforce fx5500 256mb 320gb WD HD
pc? mine: Athlon 64 x2 6400+ 2x2gb RAM Kingston (4GB-DDR2-800mhz) GeForce 8800GTX 768mb GDDR3 I need an hard disk and a internal DVD player.. but now, i've got this one. Pentium IV 2.40ghz 1mb L2 Caché 512mb DDR 400mhz GeForce FX 5200 128mb 128bits AGP Windows XP Professional SP2
Just for a laugh I've got vista running on one of my old test machines, Pentium 2 @ 350mhz, 128mb sd ram, 64mb Geforce 2 mx440, Seagate barracuda 40gb ide
Not that bad actually providing i get all the updates and vista certified drivers lol..
Wow, installation must have taken at least 4 hours, and your launching of explorer windows must crash your machine! Running XP on a P2 at 400mhz is a pain in the ass with 64mb ram.
im not much of an expert, but i think you need 1.5-2gb RAM, and get a graphics card then go throught your BIOs and shut down that integrated card, and as a recommended option, get another hard drive or just get an external one.
I know this is an old post, but I ran Vista on a Dell Dimension 2400 with 1.25GB RAM, 2.4ghz Celeron, 64mb onboard intel extreme graphics, 80GB 5200rpm, and it was pretty darn slow.
Legal, agora bote o Windows 7, antes que seu computador frite com esse Vistinha...

como te jala el vista en tu p4? yo tengo una 2.8ghz corriendo a 3.0 con 1.5gb ram y uan 5500fx crees que corra?
kavudiego 3 years ago
Bien, yo tenia una Pentium IV Prescott 2.4ghz con 1GB y una GeForce FX 5200 asi que seguramente la tuya correra mejor.
