CONTINUE : If you are asians, you are likely to be asked various weird questions with a racist attitude from homeless roommates such as,
1. Where are you from?
2. Do you speak English?
3. If you are speaking English well, next comment and question is 'As because you are from overseas, it's unusual to be a well-english speaker. Where do you learn English from?'
4. Even a horrible question, 'Are you living here?'
You won't see any respect from white race people and they would treat you very badly!
I have met couple white south african homeless ladies were here. I know that sounds terrible, but the point of going to an International Youth Hostel is to meet people of various background, all traveling around the world. You want to meet people you can share experiences but this hostel is used instead as a homeless shelter by locals who have no interest in meeting new people as well as their racist intention to treat asian visitors very badly, it takes away from the enjoyment of my stay.
