Andy should be grateful to have Muddy - awesome, nice to see Ray so relaxed in the U.S., reminded me of a real chilled 'animal' from the muppets! - lovely to see him. Andy's part here,my fave, always sounded a bit Indian/Eastern - yum yum :)
these old codgers inspired me to pick up my first guitar....still tryin to sound as good as them 30 years on ...seen them in all their transitions... still love their sound
I saw the original band do a show Halloween Night in 1972. They opened for Steve Miller Band. They did almost all of Argus, 'Vas Dis,' 'Alone,' 'Jail Bait,' 'Valediction,' Lullaby,' and this song from Pilgrimage. They also did 'Phoenix,' 'Lady Whiskey,' and 'Blind Eye' from the 1st album. It was a great night of music.
Great song. I went to see Robin Trower in san Francisco and guess who opened for him? I didn't know who they were then but I have been a big fan ever since.
Thank you. I almost died that night climbing up a vertical ladder with so much equipment in one hand that I had only one hand to use. Try climbing a totally vertical ladder with one hand, aint easy. And the catwalk I was on when I was filming got shaky during the concert. Every bass line could be felt with magnitude, but I still had fun. Stay tuned for more WA coming soon. Still have a couple of Boulder Station shows to upload.
Dear@Audiocurador: Thank you for posting this video! I'm a classiclover from the Netherlands since the early 70-ties Used to listen to a lot of American rock. WA is one of the few British bands that has influenced my youth. Most of my friends of way back when is crazy about Wishbone Ash

Amazing riff and bass on this. Do not drive to this song when it heats up. Speeding fine for certain.
