As a blues lover, I don't particularly like this version. Slide guitar is just awful... Same thing with real blues musicians and you'll see that blues is easy but not that easy... Although I like Lenny Kravitz usually

That drummer is Cindy Blackman - a jazz drummer, who was the drummer on the original recording. She recently married Carlos Santana, and is now touring now with Jack Bruce in a tribute to another famous jazz drummer, Tony Williams. The best rocking live video version is probably from the David Letterman Show.

@BBQFlow Yes, 1994. I won a contest in Detroit to have lunch with Lenny. Well, we didn't get to have lunch with him, he wasn't feeling well, but we did get to go to the sound check and stay after for photo ops. My sister and I were the only ones to get that chance. Lenny, Julian Lennon, my sis and I! Back to the story, the contest winners also won all his cd's (which I had) but the radio station folks didn't even know about the acoustic album. We jammed it pre-concert and all were amazed.
