Also, have any of you noticed that this end video is a little cut short at the black hole part? I'm thinking it's because this is not the first time around beating Bowser. Anyone notice?
Ironically, my connection is acting funky so I can't properly seek in my own video. I'll just have to take your word for it then!
Music in a game is an extremely powerful way to convey emotion and give a general feel. If the music is awful, the game can easily be perceived as worse. Mario Galaxy is awesome in the way it uses a real orchestra, so it sounds so much better!
I can't help it...It's so sad :'( especially when luma leaves mario, waves one last time and then disappears in the black hole with the others...then this music and...
...can someone pass me some tissues??? *cries*
usually I cry seldom while looking films or playing games but this???
And I also always cry while reading the storybook :(
I'm not angry if someone laughs at me now^^ I know I'm a little crazy...^^
Bowser By himself is very immune to lava, and heat..even though appearently thats his weakness. None-theless bowser was saved by Rosalina along with the others..he can't die..you know why? He's a single father..he deserves better ;P
Yes bowser is called koopa in japan, but I think nintendo is just trying to "get rid" of the koopa kids..and replace them with bowser jr you know? They're kind of misplaced.
I'm talking about the characters they had back in SMB3 and Super Mario World.
Their latest appearance was in a handheld game, and none of them talked... It was like Bowser lobotomized them.
That was a few years ago, and it was (almost) just a cameo. They've been out of the picture for a while, which is too bad, because they had a lot more personality than Bowser Jr. (in my opinion).
I know they were in like super star saga, and mabye thats why I don't like them because they didn't have any lines..they didn't seem "real", and I was too young and uninterested in playing super mario 3 to appreciate them..lol
I just thought of something. When she says, "So. . . . you'll see," that probably meant a hint for the second game.

@fizzletto It was a silver star. The star that Mario has through the whole game.

Nope.

Then again, I think I AM wrong...
Maybe I thought it was cut short because I heard the original soundtrack before...yeah, that should be it...
My apologies.
ansonii48 3 years ago
The soundtrack sure sticks to ya, huh?
WhiteKhakis 3 years ago
Well, I just listen to it occationally and some of the more interesting parts stick. I just LOVE the music from Mario Galaxy, really.

I think I shed a small tear when I first saw Mario's Luma leave him too...the music is SO EMOTIONALLY SAD THERE...

It's taught me that Mario and friends (especially Bowser) are more durable than I thought, at least!

I don't exactly remember the story, but I think Bowser was trying to create a new Galaxy with his Star Reactor. That's what blew up.
WhiteKhakis 3 years ago
lolza 04:50 Bowser can barely stand up!

Yeah, having a galaxy implode upon itself on top of you will do that.

Koopa.
Kids.
It's in the name, yet you have doubts?
(You do know that Bowser is called "Koopa" in Japan, right?)

They were kind of creepy. They'd say "...", though, right?
I wonder what was going through the developers' heads to make the kids act like that?
