I have NHL 2K10 for PS2 and it allows you to create a team also and play w3ith it online. Its a great game and you guys should pick it up.

Sorry, but I haven't even checked out 09. I can only assume there's customization. I don't think it would make sense to take something so cool and leave it out of the next installment.
