i hate it when i catch cats in my traps. its the main reason im not allowed to use lethal traps, because the cats come and screw everything up. u wait patiently for ever, and when u check ur live trap in the morning.... what do u find? another damn cat! but i dont kill them. i know some people that throw the live trap in a creek and drown them, but i would just shoot, it with a .22 in the head, if i ever were to kill a cat....

@spiavsspia my uncle closed off the cage and draped it with a blanket and hooked his car exhaust to the cage. This is ultra human as they just fall asleep. Hence it is the way most people want to kill themselves.

Just relocate the cats to another colony where someone will take care of them.

The only ones that want the cats are the coyotes. All the cat houses are full of it. The shelter wants money to drop off. The coyotes just want a meal. So I put them down, lay them out and the coyotes clean them up. They are not going to out compete the local wildlife if I can help it.

Um, a cat that is postive for FeLv and FIV is not always a death sentace. Caught an elder Tom was FIV positive and he was adopted and lived to be 20. Found a young cat that was FeLv and was adopted into a cat free home. I believe in keeping pets cats in. And TNR vaccinations and releasing wild cats back. As removing them does not much to the population.

I caught a stray at work with FLV and FLEV (felion aids)
I cried because I had to put him down..and despite being a feral cat..was so sweet and friendly in a weeks time.....

A properly cared for pet will have a collar and rabies tag on as well as not be left alone outdoors.
As far as feral goes there are varying degrees of feral. From those that can occasionally be handled to those which can not even be approached.
