absolutely LOVE seeing and hearing all this again, just takes me back. YouTube is a GODSEND! This was also one of my all time favourite music sequences too. I now have the fantastic Watch With Teacher CD compilation which features these tunes, but loads of others have been omitted due to space...simply too many fantastically nostalgic tunes to mention!
For those wanting to know the music on this, here goes: 1) Les Trois Chats - The Regency Orchesta. 2) Eldorado - The Regency Orchestra. 3) Avez Vous Le Tempo - The Regency Orchestra. 4) Middle Of The Day - The Regency Orcherstra (all four tracks used in sequence during Jan - Apr 1974). 5) Balalaika Melody - The Janos Lehar Studio Group. 6) Russian Dance - The Janos Lehar Studio Group.
I really liked your channel and this video. If you need any help getting this video exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.
Waterwings1978 - I think the song you are referring to is called Bart by a band called Ruby

@Waterwings1978 I'd like to know as well, it's pretty well known before they used it but haven't a clue either.

It's "Russian Dance" by the Janos Lehar Studio Group, and was used on ITV Schools & Colleges countdowns during the Spring of 1972.

Isn't it amazing how something so simple can evoke such wonderful feelings of nostalgia. Many thanks for posting this!
