  • FUCK THIS SONG JUST MADE ME CRY D:

  • The Mars Volta - Televators/Asilos Magdalena/Copernicus

    System Of A Down - Spiders/Roulette/ATWA/Lonely Day

    SlipKnoT - Scissors/Circle/Vermilion Pt. II/Snuff

Coheed And Cambria - Junesong Provision [Acoustic Demo]/The Light and The Glass/Mother Superior/Far

Every good band has these songs. Put them together and you have beautiful chillout mix.

  • Tan compleja como la psique humana en si misma, no cabe duda, esta es la cancion que deseo escuchar cuando este segundos antes de morir. Gran cancion!!!!!

  • 13 people hit the ground

  • @zeblanc i'm sure the asphalt helped to cushion their faces though ;)

  • Wish I could find a high quality version of this video. Apparently what you see here is the original quality from the Televators single CD. Not sure why they decided to compress it, with so much extra space available on a CD.

  • Grande, jodidamente grande.

  • I just can't understand how this song can be so awesome and powerful. It shouldn't be legal.

  • Somehow this song really reminds me of Twilight by Elliott Smith.

  • Ahhhh i fucking love this beautiful masterpiece!!!!

  • bush babies rule .

  • la cancion es buena y el video asombroso

  • i tripped nuts to this song when i thought it was about a drug OD or something, before i saw the video and my brother explained to me what it was about. now that i saw it, heard it, and expirenced the over all message, im pretty fucking sure ill never take acid and listen to this song at the same time again haha.

  • @hatttyhead Haha cool story bro...x :)

  • why is that the greatest songs are never noticed by human kind? this song has a deep message but hey miss gaga is on top ten fuking hate when this false prophets/artists are misleading us into oblivion, i wish artist like the mars volta rule the radio and the tv

  • @djkennothon The music which has the least to say is the easiest to sell, because few people disagree with it.

It's a tragedy but the lowest common denominator is more profitable than real art.

  • wow this song gives me shivers every time :D I love it when music can do that to ya :)

  • @stuartwill1992 I know what you mean. It's awesome

  • These is my fav. song from mars volta so deep... so many memories attached to it. so perfectly performed.. cedric voice, flawless, the lyrics mesmerizing... and the video its just the perfect visual interpretation of the song... "Auto-da-fé!!"

  • There needs to be a "The Wall" equivalent to one of their albums. Would be awesome

  • @LeaningTowardsPisa yea well its not, its a dedication song to their old drummer who fell off a building while on heroin. it is a beautiful song.

  • @LeaningTowardsPisa i bet you feel like and asshole now and fuck you radiohead is awesome but the mars volta is better

  • Comment removed

  • @LeaningTowardsPisa LOL Radiohead? Go get your ears cleaned out

  • Wiki "Televators "

Check out this link.....It tells you about the story behind the song....

    And Wiki "De-Loused_in_the_Comatorium"

And this one is about the album.....Yet again more fascinating stuff you may not really think about when listening to it. Their style and lyrics make sense when it`s put into context.....

Anyone out there doesn`t like Mars Volta, this might put a defferent spin on it. I didn`t like them once either.....

  • I have never liked this band. Not even remotely, but this song is just so fucking good.

  • this is by far the coolest music video i've ever seen. and it's so enchanting.

  • Any Mars Volta fans give me some songs to listen to, I like this song but i want to hear more before Sonisphere!

  • @risetodemise well this is not typical Volta, Octahedron has some similar songs but they don't play much of that live, check my channel I have some videos tagged as ORLG that are supposed to be songs from the new record (The Whip Hands, I'm Not Running Away, Traps In The Cellar and Walk The Plank) that they'll most likely play there

  • @risetodemise just buy the Frances the Mute record and listen to it all the way through without stopping..... seriously its their best album, in my opinion anyway

  • THE MARS VOLTA ES LO MAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LA VOS DE CEDRIC ME HACE SUSPIRAR ....NO ME GUSTA LO NUEVO DE OMAR ES UNA PORQUERIA COMPARADO CON ESTO

  • I enjoy every single detail in the music, a capilary hint of red...

  • I enjoy every singledetail in the music, a capilary hint of red...

  • One day this chalk outline will circle this city

Was he robbed of the asphalt that cushioned his face

    A room colored charlatan

    Hid in a safe

    Stalk the ground

    Stalk the ground

  • I love these guys. And this is one of my favorite songs.

  • good (:

  • Dedicado especialmente para Mely..

    Saludos Preciosa!

  • What's not to like about his voice. If I could sing like that I wouldn't stop singing

  • Chills...Everytime.

  • I personally thought Zepplin had their heads up their a**es when they almost hired Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge,Slash) to take the place of Plant when planning a 2008 tour...If your going to replace Plant you have to contact Cedric IMO..Not only is his voice unbelievable his energy during live performances is godly..Love TMV.

  • i dont hear shit!!!!

  • I love them.

  • sad sad song. :\

  • 11 people were robbed of the asphalt that cushioned their face

  • @Rustygallas and @narred have a really strong point! (: i like both bands and my favorite of all times (DEFTONES) i feel have the same traits! some people find it to be just noise but the character that they add to each song trough their voices is what draws me in the most. not just any vocalist can capture the intensity that they do.

  • Welcome To Ortibarland

  • one day this chalk outline will circle the city

was he robbed of the asphault that cushioned his face!?

  • one day this chalk outline will circle this city

  • ahhhhhhhh. memories in this song. remember at the drive in? Cedric is amazing

  • Damn. LOVE this song! Have to thank Bohemia Visual Music here in Phoenix for introducing me to this awesome band!

  • I love the Mars Volta!

  • I want this song for my funeral.

  • @Mentaclink You know this song is about suicide, right?

  • More music videos need deer-mecha in them.

  • psychadellic

  • ... at the end the soul of Cerpin Taxt has lost forever. They miss you Julio Venegas

  • The Mars Volta are possibly my favourite band and this is a wicked song.

That said, i can understand why people don't like them, because the music and the lyrics are sooo strange and really overwhelming at times.

But i think thats one of the reasons us fans like them so much

  • i dont get it im a big at the drive in fan and i think the mars volta is pretty cool :\

  • i love this song although this is the first song so far that i've heard by them they got a good first impression on me (:

  • @ieatcerealeveryday1 They are awsome man, open your ears to them:)

  • r.i.p. Julio Venegas

  • Comment removed

  • hahahah nice one i wouldn't have found this video either without a little help of mi amiga mary!

  • TMV=One too many doses of acid taken for their videos Lol

  • this is the song in which cerpin taxt kills himself, which time tho? the one wen it actually works? coz i thought he overdosed on rat poison n morphine..and ugh i dunno i love this video <3

  • i fuckin love TMV

  • love this band!

  • mars volta = loudest show i've ever been to. crystal method is #2.

  • If i didn't smoke weed I probably wouldn't have found this song...thank you marijuana : )

  • damn why is that the truth, weird when u thinck about it

  • @uriNB if i didnt smoke weed id be a tool

  • Much love 4 this song and video...So dreamlike...U can actually feel the damp of the forest.

  • The video is from My Morning Jacket's Touch Me, I'm going to Scream

  • three half-eaten corneas...

    X_X

  • That tarsier creeps me out

  • i love this band

  • This is AWESOME !! O_O Thanks D for your sharing ! pax Et Lux. Gypsy

  • the nine poeple that gave this a thumbs down doesn't know music whatsoever.

  • this song makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time i hear it... my only complaint is that their videos are shortened versions of the songs, and I want my Volta in all of its unabridged glory.

  • despues de un largo tiempo te encuentro!! =)

  • stalk the ground

  • The bipedal creature with horns reminds me of a colossus from Shadow of the Colossus.

This whole album is great. I think I prefer Bedlam In Goliath though.

  • Brilliant song and brilliant video to go with it. Cedric has an amazing voice and i think this is one of his best songs. An All time favourite TMV song from a heart stopping album.

  • Awesomeness!

  • This song makes me cry on the inside

  • I <3 TMV

  • The thing about Cedric's voice is people either really like it, or they hate it... I personally think he has an awesome falsetto and he has a very unique voice, which is what you need in the music industry these days. What makes Cedric's voice so good for this group is that he adds electricity to the sound... At least that's the way I perceive it...

  • agree - i was never into higher ocatves vocally but i cannot deny that this sounds too fuckin good. cadence is important alongside being able to hit notes and his voice is very unique in that respect!

  • You can't hit those high notes with a falsetto bro... Other than that I love your comment =)

  • @Rustygallas, I don't really think it's a falsetto, I think it's part of his normal range...it seems to come within a very natural range (for the score), and at a natrual demand. The Mars Volta defanately has a cult following. They need to keep on doing whatever they're doing...

  • @Rustygallas Man I waited my whole life for you to explain it. Well, I dont really care.

  • @Rustygallas couldn't have put it better myself. i have a few m8s who say "his voice is annoying" but it's his voice that is incredible. the same kinda goes for coheed and cambria's lead vocalist... their vocal styles are positively unique.

  • @Rustygallas

Cedric is just straight up the shit

  • This is a kick ass song.....and the video is awesome!

  • @got2luvme61231 Well said. Simple words.

  • Megan...I Mean "Bulletforlife1" xD Yeshh Yew Were Right about my dad last night...His name is Dave :D Dat was a great guess..xD

  • Welll "BulletForLife1" I Personallly think your totally wrong about everything ever....Loikee Your as wrong as a pineapple on a fridat evening...and Trust me...Thats Wrong! xD

  • I Personally Disagree, I Highly Doubt Those Accusations, I Was Right About Yoohr Dad ast Night Wasn't I? (; xD

  • pfttt..

Down With This Sort Of Thing, Careful Now......xD

    I Personally Think It's A Gurd Song.

But Yooh Have Yoohr Own Opinion..

  • awesome video :)

  • i'm just now getting into this band - i always regretted not checking them out - there's a specific melody in this that sounds almost exactly like TOOL's cover of You Lied (live) - you'll pick up on it right away.

  • go to deloused. couldnt stop for months

  • the entire song is sad you dumbass... the song is about Cedric Bixler-Zavalas friend commiting suicide. actually its the basis of the entire album

  • I love this song!! <3

    the video is kinda sad

  • I love the otherworldly feel to this, it reminds me of the mythological/legendary Hunt at Beltane

  • pocos seponen a refleccionar lo que significa poner palabra que no tengan nada que ver en una cancion con buena letra

que son buenos en cuerpo y mente

pero no lo son en inconciencia

  • salvame!

  • FAV band

  • get a life

  • a former memeber (hes dead now hints former member) killd himself and its supposedly about him

  • Julio Venegas jumped from a bridge onto a freeway after being in a coma for months and the album is dedicated to him

  • absolutely brilliant

  • one day this chalk outline will circle this city.

sounds like my city (philadelphia, cough) lol

  • hey now! its always sunny in philadelphia right ?

  • im pretty sure it has rained in philly you fuck

  • great show. Too bad its always rainy and/or cloudy in Philly

  • The comparion between Tarsiers and Venegas' suicide is genius.

    Deloused forever.

  • these guys are both living right? i'm confused? somehow i got that message that one of them died from reading the below comments. (not all just one in particular)

  • i know nothing about venegas, but ward was a former member of the mars volta.

  • Omar (guitarist, arranger)0 and Cedric (Vocals) are living, yes.

  • these images remind me of a Salvia trip I had about a week ago, first time....and im actually kinda scared to do it again because it was so intense

  • dude, salvia is fucking intense! last time i tripped i felt like i was 2d and on a meat hook (it hurt to move), and when i was coming down i felt like i was hollow and was afraid of falling down into myself and looking up and seeing light come in from my eye holes.

lesson to everyone: salvia is a very powerful drug. use with caution!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Ward OD'd on heroin. Julio Venegas woke up from his drug-induced coma and jumped off an overpass onto I-10 in El Paso.

And yes, this is easily their best music video.

  • i wrote a 500 word college essay about a mars volta concert i went to that was due in one day

    i got a A-

  • cool story bro

  • Their BEST music video.

  • so how did ward die again?

which bridge did he jump off of i mean..its all confusing to me.

  • the mars volta are a really good band, i wish i would have found out about them earlier, this is the first time ive ever heard of them and they are amazing.

  • genius song

  • HI HEIDI!

  • it gud bt nt as hot as the music itself

  • Anyone noticed how similar the opening shots are to Gorillaz' Feel Good Inc.?

  • I CAMW!

  • I MEAN CAME!

  • honestly both i enjoy but tmv is defenitely way way better than muse. they are epic. and yes i am clinging on to their balls no homo tho

  • I wouldnt say one is better than the other.

    They are incomparable

  • agreed.

  • ;aij;oanv;oeanvrou4rjvwp8nnvyn[8v34unpv38up!!!!

  • such a badass band

    love it.

  • Muse dosnt come close to TMV!

  • Don't even compare the two. Seriously.

  • agreed hahah

  • Agreed

  • this song is larger than life!

  • will always be my fav. band <3

  • what about ATDI?

  • possible reunion in the future.

  • MUSE !!!!!!

  • TMV>muse

    ATDI>>>>>>>>>>>muse

  • lemurs?

  • Tarsiers....learn the story of tarsiers in captivity.

  • If you knew the meaning of the song it would make sense.

  • I love the song and video. Can't stop listening *.*

  • Yeah, can't we just appreciate the music and awesome video...? Do we have to read into everything all the time?! I think not

  • This song is about Cerpin Taxt (Julio Venegas) attempting suicide after waking from a coma..and actually succesfully killing himself. stop talking about bigfoot and tinkerbell.

  • a guy at a talent show did this wonderfully, and now i love this song , so much :)

  • Awesome song, brilliant video...... God doesnt come into it :p

  • callete juevon
