Everyone you come into contact with, it`s your desicion to make it positive or negative. Everyone is carrying some type of burden. We all have crosses to bear. Let`s lighten those crosses with kindness and understanding, in our homes, our communities and in our world. World peace is at a critical stage. It`s upsetting to know the tragedies so many people suffer.
I was reluctant to favorite this vide, but I`m a realist. I`ll never understand how cruel and inhumane people can be to each other. I love the human race and I will never understand the concept of war. Start with yourselves ( sometimes I need to heed my own advice too )...kindness goes a long way, just a simple gesture of a smile can brighten someone`s day. Whatever you do, whatever you say, radiates outward like a pebble thrown in a smooth pond, and affects people in ways you will never know.
Our soldiers are coming home- and we rejoice. Yet Obama declares the war is over. War? We invaded Iraq! 10 yrs between Iraq & Afghanistan and what have we proven? So many of our solidiers & innocent civilians are dead. Senseless- we walk away accomplishing nothing. I feel for our troops stuck in either place. It was Vietnam/Korean War all over again. I have a tremendous respect for religious people who keep religion to themselves. Invariably, these people are no fundamentalists. They get off their butts and act on their good religious principles in favor of their fellow men, hands on the job. Mother Teresa of Calcutta for instance was no bible thumper, used religion in a good way and refused to be used by it. She had no time for bs and wouldn't be caught dead preaching her beliefs. I was aware of it, but there is a difference between North Americans and Americans. I'm not sure what the Native Americans used to call the land they lived on, but I don't think it was America. I live in the US but I am from Argentina, and must say that all people, here or somewhere else, tend to see wars through the image of the leaders and the sides they are in, and not really through the tears and the hearts of people caught in between, just because life put them there. I think this video is great, because in a very painful way it makes us remember them, the real people hurt, and the real suffering.
There are always sides in war. Soldiers carrying the children show we are equal. The invading force are people, the same as the population being invaded. It does not matter if those grieving are from attacks by their own people, invading forces, defenders or even their brothers - they greive. Force is not the answer. I have volunteered in two areas of civil war. I have never seen a winning side. No one truly comes away victorious from war. Not weapons makers, bankers or oilmen. Good vildeo.

I was reluctant to favorite this vide, but I`m a realist. I`ll never understand how cruel and inhumane people can be to each other. I love the human race and I will never understand the concept of war. Our soldiers are coming home- and we rejoice. Yet Obama declares the war is over. War? We invaded Iraq! 10 yrs between Iraq & Afghanistan and what have we proven? So many of our solidiers & innocent civilians are dead. Senseless- we walk away accomplishing nothing. I feel for our troops stuck in either place. It was Vietnam/Korean War all over again. I have a tremendous respect for religious people who keep religion to themselves. Invariably, these people are no fundamentalists. They get off their butts and act on their good religious principles in favor of their fellow men, hands on the job. Within the nature of men are many enemies of his own best interest. One of the greatest is discouragement. Just a touch of that can take down just about anybody. So yeah you can say were fucked up and have no souls for killing kids and innocent people. But just remember they held the weapon that couldve ended up with your brother, sister, cousin, or whoever not coming home so make sure you think twice. Reason can be used to overcome problems. The other end is force. Force can be used to overcome problems. Communication has two ends. Reason and force. We speak to solve problems. I live in the US but I am from Argentina, and must say that all people, here or somewhere else, tend to see wars through the image of the leaders and the sides they are in, and not really through the tears and the hearts of people caught in between, just because life put them there. I think this video is great, because in a very painful way it makes us remember them, the real people hurt, and the real suffering.

There are always sides in war. Soldiers carrying the children show we are equal. The invading force are people, the same as the population being invaded. It does not matter if those grieving are from attacks by their own people, invading forces, defenders or even their brothers - they greive. Force is not the answer. I have volunteered in two areas of civil war. I have never seen a winning side. No one truly comes away victorious from war. Not weapons makers, bankers or oilmen. Good vildeo.

I was in Iraq...it's not fun for BOTH sides. Soldiers don't want to be there and those who do, do not understand what it's like. It was not over oil, trust me. I was there for a YEAR and all the oil was going to the Iraqi exporters.

War never solves anything? Only one thing is missing on this video: We don't know the context of a single one of those photographs. What warriors know is that war, as awful as it is, is the most common determining factor in the difference between freedom and oppression. If you can see no difference between the two, then you are free to criticize and condemn those who do. But your world view is a fairy tale. I mean after the war either one stands victorious or both parties agree to peace. In the end war has only killed thousands or millions of us, for what? To prove someone right? Just the same if you had to kill someone to save the world, it's nescessary, but solved nothing. It answered nothing, the only thing it did was make life go on, but was it truly worth it? Isn't it worth more to talk about the conflict and work it out, rather than wasting other peoples lives for petty conflicts?
