I found him at my local Zellers today. I know it's way past the time of generations but they have alot of generations. Sadly he's 20$! :( is that worth it? The last seeker I had was Classics Starscream and my mom through him out by mistake. :( I never got a conehead so I'm just wondering if it's worth 20$

Mine arrived off ebay via the US today, very nice, very pleased and remind me so much of the G1 cartoon renditions of these guys. I also got Dirge with him...Ramjet is too rare as white dog shit to buy at a cheap price - fucking scalpers! I prefer to have the wings down, with the vtol jets showing forward, like the G1 version. Easier to move his arms then.

I normally don't condone repaints but if it's Seekers, Bumblebee into Cliffjumper or Sideswipe and Sunstreaker I can get behind it. Especally with the Seekers, you can never have enough Seekers in your collection.

I hear that the Generation Thrust's wing is miss assembled (3:16) because we see too many hole on the back of his wings and they should be flip over (5:09); I mean that should really be the correct side for the wings. The Japanese Gentai version is properly assembled the wings parts. I mean how can Hasbro make such mistake?

I loved this guys colour scheme, very striking, now I Have to find a decently priced Ramjet so i can get all the coneheads when Dirge comes out.

The wings can be kept down with Thrust its up to you if you want to put them up. All the coneheads can have their wings in the down position.

@optibotimus that is odd it lines up flush for me. The wings are on double hinges to allow greater flexibility with the wings. I have my Thrust hanging out Henkei Starscream pimping out their chrome features. Putting the wings down makes him more G1 accurate and you gain a bit of arm articulation. The mold is very solid and I can see why you think the back is not going to be that flush. However how you pull off transformation is flip the wings up and at the end flip them back down.

Hasbro should 've made the nullrays smaller on all the Seekers. It probably would make the articulation in the arms better.

They're still awesome figures though.

the tailfins rotate? I couldn't get mine to do that. also, the fans DO rotate, you just need to find something small enough to fit, your pinkie finger or the null ray missiles should work, once you get them rotated enough, you should be able to get them to rotate freely.

@grimdragon2001 IIRC, Thrust, Dirge, Ramjet, Thundercracker, & Skywarp were all special releases in the Henkei line. But yeah, it's about time we got this guy. (Not sure if we got Dirge at all yet...)

@optibotimus I have to agree how it's nice that there are some unique molding features this time around with the six Decepticon jets. Especially considering that the original G1 versions were all completely identical except for the wings of Ramjet, Thrust, & Dirge!! That's a change I'm HAPPY for.

Everytime I see him in stores I consider buying him, but then change my mind. Something about him I don't like. I am a Starscream fan and a bit of a Seeker fan so I guess I'll get him eventually. Good review though, definitely helpful.

He is fantastic. I picked him up with Drift. I think I prefer Drift, but, when there's a Seeker, sometimes you just have to make an exception.

It happens over and over again, with all the reissues that are coming out... like Predaking and the Piranacons... except with the Botcon Thrust, so few people were able to afford it, and even fewer were able to buy it.
