Our Lord came to save sinners, so do you think He could live in the womb of anything less than a immaculate virgin in the Divine plan .Moses saw the burning bush when God called him to the mountain. The burning bush did not consume it, likewise Mary will always be a virgin, every man loves and respects his mother .We do not adore Mary, but we give her higher veneration than the saints.Behold your Mother, one of the last words of Our dying Lord
Who believes this kind of fairy tale? So, the dogma is because Eve brought original sin to "mankind", not humankind now, Mary somehow was born w/o original sin from her mother then begot a deity to redeem "mankind" through the "virgin" birth. So, the real question is since the original sin is from women giving birth to "mankind" and Mary was born w/o original sin, does that mean her earthly father gave birth to her?
What a wonderful video. I wish people would open their hearts and mind. And not listen to others. They have no idea what they are missing. Thank you Steve.
Catholics do NOT worship Mary, they venerate her. There IS a difference between worship and venerate, look it up! Catholics worship ONLY God!! Get that through your thick skulls already!
@28804ecorrell In all respect why do they venerate her? Mary is dead in her grave awaiting the resurrection on the last day just like everyone else that has died in Christ. Mary needed a Savior just like we all do. God picked her because he needed a righteous virgin, nothing more nothing less, she's not above anyone.
Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
@mikestheman3 it's meaning is that once you die the state of your soul at death determines if you are saved or not and there is nothing you can know or do after that to change your destination. Paul writes in Philippians 1:23–24, "I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body." Paul says he will be with Jesus when he dies.
uhm...i do not mean to be disrespectful to another Christian denomination but i'd like 2 point out that in Matt 1:25 is says she was pretty much no longer a virgin cuz joseph 'knew' her. srry.
@CloverTheHedgehog23 Matt 1:25 says But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.
This is tp verify that mary gave birth without having sexual relations. It does not say she had relations after Jesus was born. Why would someone have relations with anyone, knowing that your son is God?
I see people saying this on the streets... TOTALLY illogical.
WWJD? This is a better phrase. Actions speak louder than words. Muslims got devotion and actions much better than Christians/ Catholics ...just a little too far. Shame you people crying saved don't share the same devotion. Its something.g we can learn from them.
I have discovered for myself that st. Mary is like a railing on the path of Jesus Christ. It protects you from the pride of thinking "I am the choosen who can walk on Jesus Christ path".
That is: you can sacrifice your intensions and spiritual growth to her, so you are sure you don't need to bother if your prayers are "correct" or not.
@jewsdidwtc1001 We don't worship Mary....you simply repeat the gossip, which is the doctrines of men, that you read on the internet, instead of reading the bible. "JESUS CHRIST is the one true Messiah. that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him."
There is only one Mediator, and that is Jesus christ! There is no other way.
Mary is not equel to Jesus and she was Not without sin and she is not in heaven taking prayers for you and netiher are any other dead saints! Jesus said you are not to pray to dead people because they cannot hear you because there dead. You Catholic's do not read the bible and if you do you read the NAB what is known a lie! You are not Christians! Catholicism is a false religion. Your God is a Wafer and a cup of wine.
@RSMJ15 The God is so wornderful that He gave us the most intimate and close relation to us! His holy blood and flesh! His love is beyond our imagination, Jesus Christ sacrificing himself on the cross first, and now everyday till this moment giving Himself to us - His blood and flesh in the form of bread and wine! This is His everyday's sacrifice, and you should not disregard Him.
Mary indeed called herself the handmaiden of the Lord, Luke 1:38, She raised up the child Jesus. Mary is not God's Mother by any means.. Mary said in Luke 1:47 that her Spirit Rejoiced in God her Saviour. a Huge differnce of Mary the Handmaiden of the Lord v:s the mother of God. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 There is one God and meditaor between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus'' God Did not instruct no one to go through mary. It's pegan worship to do such and God does not Honor it and is not Scriptual.
The Bible nowhere instructs believers in Christ to pray to anyone other than God. The Bible nowhere encourages, or even mentions, believers asking individuals in heaven for their prayers.
First Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
I AM TIRED OF THIS. I DONT SPEAK INGLIS A LOT, BUT HERE IN LATIN AMERICA AND PUERTO RICO ITS THE SAME SITUTION WHEREVER IN SPANISH OR INGLISH AS I CAN SEEE. ONLY JESUS CAN STOP THIS CRAZY AND FALSE PEOPLE, RELIGION AND FLSE CHRCH, VERTY SOON, MANY DESTRUCTIONS WILL SHOW THEM THE REAL MIND OF CHRIST AND REAL WISHES ABOUT THE ONLY CHURCH THAT WAS FOUNDED FOR JESUS AND HIS APOSTOL, THE AWYS BLESSED APOSTOLIC, CATHOLIC, ROMAN, CHURCH!!!
AND LIVE THE CATHOLIC PEOPLE IN PEACE FOR THE REST OF THE TIMES, UNTIL JESUS COME AND TELLING ABOUT WHAT ITS HIS TRUELY CHURCH, PLEASE!!!!THE PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF THIS DISCUTIONS, AND TRYING TO SHARE A BEATIFULL VIDEO WITH MY LITTLE NATWE ON FACEBOOK, AND I CANT, BECAUSE I DONT WANT, MY LITTLE GIRL SEE THIS KIND OF COMENTARY ABOUT OUR BLESSED MOTHER, PLEASE!!! CAN THEY STOP NOW?????
THE PROTESTANT PEOPLE ALWAYS ARE TALKING ABOUT THE CATHOLIC PEOPLE HAVE TO RESPECT THEIR FAITH, BUT THEY NEVER RESPECT OUR RELIGION AND ALWAYS ARE IN PERSECUTIONS TO THE CATHOLIC, ROMAN, FAITH AND CHRUCH. I THINK THE CATHOLIC PEOPLE WE HAVE THE SAME RIGTH OF LYBERTY OF RELIGIONS ON THE CONSTITUTION LAW OF UNITED STATE, SO, CAN SOMBODY TELL THEN ABOUT, AND TELLING THAT THE PROTESTANT MAKE SILNCE AND TAKE ALL ERRORS TO THY FALSE CHURCHES.......
Dont compare the Mother of God with a false pagan deity. Its insulting. And the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God DOES exsist, unlike pagan deitys. Weather you like it or not and weather you believe it or not. If you dont have something nice to say about the Mother of God, it is best you dont say anything at all.
you pray to God alone, we all are saints if you are a child of God, born again, saved by the blood of Jesus, then you are a saint, no where in the bible does it say to pray to Michael who was an angel not a saint or mary who was just the mother of Jesus, You pray to God, its not my opinion its truth and no im not special im a sinner just like you
idol worship is against God in which catholic's have a lot of, mary didn't die for my sins Jesus did, mary wasnt nailed to a cross Jesus was, mary didnt rise from the dead Jesus did, praying to beads or saints or anything but God or Jesus won't get you any where
"idol worship is against God in which catholic's have a lot of"
No Catholics only worship the One True Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If you think otherwise you have been misinformed - which is usually the case with protestants.
"mary didn't die ...rise from the dead Jesus did,"
And there isnt anything different that Catholics believe.
"praying to beads" Praying to beads is idiotic at best and Catholics dont do it.
Catholics dont worship saints - we pray to them for intercession to God. The saints by themselves can do nothing - everything ultimately is from God alone.
"won't get you any where"
How do know ? How do you know that asking the saints to pray for us wont get us anywhere ? Why is your opinion correct ? Are you special ?
12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Remember this verse when you start to condemn me for behaving as you are behaving.
You judge and condemn the RCC and those who believe in the faith. By doing so, you ask me to condemn you and I don't want to judge you. I wish you would stop insisting that I behave as you are behaving.
@MrChristianBeliever How silly. You've been completely judging me the whole time bcus u assume ur right & assert a hyper level of self righteousness & infallibility to the organization & franchise u follow. Now ur applying 'Satan' to me basically calling me demonic bcus my views r not like yours. Very nice. This has been one of the most silly interactions I've ever had with an RC follower. Like I wrote before I was not judging u personally. Ur mental example is exactly why atrocities happened.
"You've been completely judging me the whole time bcus u assume ur right"
I don't think I am right. I am wrong plenty of times. I just know you are wrong. You asked me to treat you like you treat the Pope and Bishops and Priests and Parishioners of the Catholic church. I am simply treating you the way you want to be treated.
I truly don't believe you are demonic. I do think Satan has pulled the wool over your eyes since you focus on faults in others instead of focusing on Jesus.
"Like I wrote before I was not judging u personally"
Like I wrote before, when you attack the Body of Christ, you attack the members of Christ's Body. That includes me. Your attacks are why the attrocities happened, not me.
"I wrote & referred to real life history of RC atrocities & murder"
Did you include the attrocities & murder committed by Protestants as well or were you focused only on the hatred in your heart (RCC)?
@MrChristianBeliever I wrote & referred to real life history of RC atrocities & murder. Which is 100 fact. & precisely bcus of that truth I can never endorse that franchise, nor do I easily dismiss it. Those historical 'fruits' taste bitter, ur words are silly & ur lack of education does not set the Christian standard as u assert urself to. RC biblical interpretation is INCORRECT.
It's funny how you use verses against me that really don't apply. As you label me here you're labeling yourself.
@MrChristianBeliever Anyways I found it interesting that Tyndale's translation from Greek of Matthew 1:23 uses 'Maid' instead of 'Virgin'. The word "Parthenos" was also used for the goddess Athena & various other pagan ways. The RC called pagan religions 'evil' or 'of the devil', yet that's precisely what it's main holidays & borrowings came from. Uv resorted to slandering me personally when u can't answer the question or comment intelligently as I brought up the past of ur franchise.
"The RC called pagan religions 'evil' or 'of the devil'"
Really? What is your source for that statement?
"Uv resorted to slandering me personally when u can't answer the question"
I did not resort to it, you asked me to slander you.
The last time I answered your question, you did what Satan would do by persecuting my answer with some nonsense. That is the only reason you want an answer. Discussion is the last thing on your mind. Why would I want to play your games?
@MrChristianBeliever The reality is from the earliest days of Christianity there were several views & no set theology & actually much looser. The views that were standard ARE NOT LIKE TODAY'S COMMON FRANCHISES. Different congregations simply believed different & tolerated each other. As the government body evolved into the RC it tried to eradicate it's competitors thru out time with murder, crusades & inquisitions & set itself as The Church. Yet it could not. Bcus it simply wasn't right with God
"The reality is from the earliest days of Christianity there were several views & no set theology & actually much looser"
I don't think so. There were apostles who taught others and bestowed the HS upon them with the laying on of hands. They cast lots to decide who would replace previous apostles. They did this so that the faith would not be lost because that was the will of Jesus according to scripture.
@MrChristianBeliever RC used force & scare tactics to gain its footing along with adapting itself to pagan ways by integrating the standard holidays & folk beliefs into it to gain converts. It directly destroyed historical documents wiping out evidence & knowledge of the past that it didn't want known. It acted as the stupifying force Par Excellence, & directly led to underground organizations opposing it which eventually developed into ideas that became principles of modern governments.
@MrChristianBeliever & just like from the early days there were several views & always will be, bcus of mainly (1) literal translation (2) lack of understanding the development of the books (3) not understanding where many OT stories & influences came from (4) self-righteousness (5) refusal to face reality, facts & change when something's obsolete & silly (6) cannot admit it's wrong (7) & with all of these things combined creates pure delusion & lack of truth.
@MrChristianBeliever Thank God for freedom of religion & freedom of speech. & even the right to be wrong.
One thing for sure is RC history & theology has set the example of exactly what not to be. I didn't condemn the RC, IT CONDEMNED ITSELF. I'm done here & just stated the facts (that I thank God for the privilege of sharing with me) & hope maybe one day you & those like you can grow up. Reality isn't just black & white, it's also many shades of grey & sometimes combinations of colors unseen
@MrChristianBeliever & 1 last thing to think about: Every bible when translated into whatever language on this earth is using a former pagan god name for the name of God from that culture when translated: Romanian 'Dumnezeu' Dumne=Lord, Zeu=Zeus. Slavonic 'Bog' is from Belo Bog, English 'god' is from Gad a god of fortune & so on, every language & translation does that! So they've done nothing but changed the story settings yet invoke a prime former deity & still pray to him!
@asherasator The Gospel of John(chapter 1) tells us that God's Light shines in every human heart but because of their sin, humans cannot fully understand it. Christian truth is hidden in pagan cultures. It is then not surprising that there are similarities between pagan religions and the Christan faith.
Romans 14:10 You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.
Romans 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.
1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
James 4:11 Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.
"In all the branches of the Jewish religion do they pray to saints to pray for them?"
Are you asking this because you don't believe saints in heaven are perfect and their prayers for us are powerful and effective? Perhaps you don't believe they are like angels who have helped many people throughout history according to scripture.
I really don't care what you think since you preach what Satan preaches.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye (Matthew 7:3-5, Luke 6:42)? More than likely it is because Satan told you to do this without using your brain and you blindly follow him.
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. (Romans 2:1).
"Where does it say to take the Hail Mary greeting?"
I gave you a passage and you responded as Satan's minon. You were incapable of answering my question. Satan uses that same tactic. Ask questions for the purpose of persecuting others and never answer questions.
Don't conform then. No one cares about your opinions of scripture so why continue preaching your personal gospel? Do you think you will reqruit followers on this video? That is not a very intelligent decision on your part.
If you were to come here behaving as a Christian is supposed to behave (2 Timothy 2:14-26, 1 Peter 5, James 4:12, Matthew 7, 1 Cor 4:5), I would be more interested in what you have to say.
@MrChristianBeliever My initial post is about the Virgin Birth, & there were plenty of other posts with different views on Mary here. This is a public page & the Roman Catholic "opinion" will be challenged by plenty of ppl, AS IT HAS BEEN FOR A LONG TIME. If you guys (silvia & mr.believer) don't want ppl of other denominations discussing things then don't allow posts. & also you responded to me, not me to you, so for you to even ask your initial question means you were wanting to debate.
"This is a public page & the Roman Catholic "opinion" will be challenged by plenty of ppl"
I have seen very few people challenge the RCC faith. The majority dictate what scripture says. There is a difference between challenging a faith and chastising a faith.
"If you guys (silvia & mr.believer) don't want ppl of other denominations discussing things then don't allow posts."
I actually think a discussion would be great. Let me know when someone wants to discuss scripture.
"you responded to me, not me to you, so for you to even ask your initial question means you were wanting to debate"
I only respond when people make false accusations against the RCC. I did not seek you out. I do not want a debate. Debating and dictating is pointless. Discussion is fine. You have not left any room for discussion. You have made it clear that it is your way or the highway.
@MrChristianBeliever you're not the video author & you didn't have to ask any question concerning any of my posts & just let it go. But your ego wanted to engage. & What's with the 'behavior' comment? I'm not misbehaving or being overly aggressive, & just stating what I understand from a lifetime worth of biblical, historical & religious study. Which does not, can not & will not conform to the Roman Catholic non-sense that goes against reality of life's biological facts at the human level ...
"you didn't have to ask any question concerning any of my posts & just let it go"
You don't have to respond to my question either. As you said, this is a public forum. Just let it go.
"But your ego wanted to engage"
Ego is not involved when one of Satan's followers is preaching. You seek what Satan desires you to seek instead of God's love. I expose your deliberate lies and it is bugging you.
That is because you see yourself as righteous and above others. You place yourself before others. You believe God sees you as you want to be seen. Close your eyes and open your heart so that you can see clearly.
How can you say to your brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? Hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly.
@MrChristianBeliever ... & goes against what the New Testament & what it really says especially when studying it at the Greek level. Ur biblical quotes have nothing to do with this discussion, I'm not judging you personally whatsoever, but the institution that has a clear record of murder & deceipt & it's legacy of propaganda & childish theology is of interest to me. & if it wasn't for the early protestants who put their life a risk you would even have a bible to read in the English language
"Ur biblical quotes have nothing to do with this discussion"
Really? You make claims how horrible the RCC based on your understanding of scripture and then you don't express yourself in the manner as a Christian is supposed to according to scripture and you think that has nothing to do with the discussion.
Do you view Atheists the same way when they chastise your beliefs?
@MrChristianBeliever "Catholics gave you the bible" LOL!!! According to Josephus he paraphrased the letter to Aristeas & that King Ptolomy ordered the 72 elders to put together the Septuagint (old testament). Marcion who was against Catholic dogma was the first to canonize a New Testament on record (undisputed scholarly fact) & his notes in epistles remain utilized to this day & in the books. The first Catholic NT canonization was a response to his. You know nothing of facts or history
@MrChristianBeliever & maybe you shud read Thomas Cramner's First English Prayer book, who was burned alive by Roman Catholicism for translating the original Catholic rites which differ greatly than today's rites in any Roman Church. They didn't want anybody to read the bible or translate the rites. Had it not been for protestants science itself wud not have been able to develop which the church burned ppl at the stake for as well. There is no truth in Roman Catholicism & showed nothing but evil
@MrChristianBeliever 'Ye shall know them by their fruits' Mathew 7:16. What has been the fruits of Romanism? Suppression, civil regression (RC caused the Dark Ages), stupidity, murder & evil deeds thru crusades & plunder. That is your religion, & how about Opus Dei & the Jesuits that are another part of the RC dark hand that are clearly known for it's various operations & propaganda?
You worship an institution & an obsolete tradition. The body of Christ is not brick & stone but of ppl & spirit.
"You worship an institution & an obsolete tradition."
And you claimed you don't judge me. You have no idea what I worship yet you dictate what I worship. You do not wish to discuss scripture, you want to persecute other faiths, most notably Catholics. That is anti-Christian behavior and the reason I posted quotes from scripture on how you are supposed to behave as a Christian.
You don't seem to understand scripture so what you preach is biblical.
"Where in the NT does it say to chant "Hail Mary""
Really? You are going to start asking me those kinds of questions? Are you a sola scriptura Protestant? Every one of them I have believe in it unless they make claims that are not in scripture, then it does not apply. Can you tell me where scripture says we cannot say "Hail Mary"?
Luke 1:28 And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee (Luke 1:28 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition).
@MrChristianBeliever & Douay-Rheims translation was once again a RESPONSE to the KJV (Read in the Beginning by Alister McGrath which is a complete history of the development of the KJV. Always second & always distorted, you have no idea what ur writing about. Like most RC they don't know why they believe what they believe, they just believe because they're told to believe, with no facts to back it up on almost any level. Seriously, you lack knowledge & understanding on Christian history.
"most RC they don't know why they believe what they believe, they just believe because they're told to believe"
That is the oldest and lamest point that Satanists use against Catholics. Making such a dumb statement makes you look even more unintelligent. I am Catholic and I don't believe what you believe. Evidently you are wrong. Everything you keep saying confirms my faith in Christ's church even more.
Please continuing persecuting me and the RCC. Jesus told me you would.
@MrChristianBeliever Question: When did Satan become evil? In Numbers 22:22 the angel sent by god to intercept Balaam is Satan in the Hebrew. The Pharisees & Saducees had no concept of Satan as an evil being, all good & bad was from IHVH.
Isaiah 14:12 doesn't apply because that was borrowed from the older Ras Shamra texts(Canaan) & was a metaphor of the sun Shaher/Lucifer setting his throne above the earth god Aleyan/Elion (zenith) then hurled into his mother Hellel the abyss (sunset).
@MrChristianBeliever If the Pharisees & Saducees had no concept of Satan as evil, how is RC & other duelist branches of Christianity a linear evilution of that "Jewish" religion that doesn't have that idea?
Did the RC invent an evil Satan & for what reason? In all the branches of the Jewish religion do they pray to saints to pray for them? The first st. wasn't canonized till 993CE.
Don't write like you know or represent what Christians are supposed to act like, Ur not the boss or example.
"Don't write like you know or represent what Christians are supposed to act like"
I didn't. I quoted scripture. Its called copy and paste. Scripture tells us how to act. You ignore it.
"Ur not the boss or example"
I knowI am not. You have been telling everyone here that you are the boss. The only problem is that no Catholic here believes you. That makes you very angry and Satan can't stand it either.
@MrChristianBeliever Where in the NT does it say to chant "Hail Mary" over & over? It doesn't. & celibacy for its clergy is not needed & it turned many into deviants as well as goes against nature & Gods will to be fruitful, & it turns ppl in lunatics without proper biological release, or not be able to receive love from another human being which is clearly natural, healthy & Christ's true message & at the core of his ministry. Love, both physical & spiritual are necessary for a balanced life.
@MrChristianBeliever It's clear to say & having on record centuries of 'fruits' from the Roman Catholic harvest, it is against anything: normal, natural, pleasurable, intelligent, realistic or observable or in line with life's natural processes which God created. So by that record & current belief system & idiocy created thru its propagators it has nothing to do with God, but only its self interest. God is described as the Logos-Intelligence by John, the RC does not use or promote intelligence
@MrChristianBeliever & Wycliffe was the first to give a bible in English from the Vulgate, a dissident of the Catholic church (which the minorites/Franciscans DEFENDED HIM), which pope Matrin V had his body dug it & burned with his books then thrown into a river! & how about Tyndale what was his fate for translating the bible into English directly from the Greek? He was murdered as well burned at the stake! For what spreading the word of God in English? Get real, grow up & face the facts.
@MrChristianBeliever & what I meant by 'does not promote intelligence' (since I have to spell it out bcus u don't get it) is that logical things that can be deducted, calculated & reasoned with using the factual tangible evidence (biblical books & scrolls) from a scientific perspective as well as obvious deductions of observable reality that every person experiences in life (like virgin births don't happen to humans) is frowned upon. Do you get it yet? Logic is a God given product & blessing.
@MrChristianBeliever Where does it say to take the Hail Mary greeting & chant it 7,500 times? What is the need for for it? Jesus & God need interception from Mary? Mary did nothing miraculous but serve as an incubator for Jesus. Nor does she have to have a virgin birth in order for her son to do great things & take the primitive animal sacrificing (barbecuing) priesthood back to the meal of Melkizedek rite. Impregnated by God is a metaphor, figure of speech for a blessed child, apple anyone?
Jesus said all Priest = Levites. When Jesus died on the cross He became the only officer of the Hebrew line of Priest through Melchezedik = only atonening Priest before His Father in the Heavenly sanctuary not made with hands Heb 9:24. He died once, for all Heb 10:10. And now sits at the right hand of God "ever interceeding" on our behalf. Heb 11:25 Rom 8:27,34. 1Cor 12=Paul never mentions office of "priest" in the NT church. Peter says we are ALL a Royal Priesthood & lively stones 1 Pet 2:5,9.
"Lest ye CORRUPT yourselves & make you a GRAVEN IMAGE the similitude of ANY figure the likeness of MALE or FEMALE"
"When thou shalt beget children & childrens children & ye shalt have remaind long n the land & shall corrupt yourselves & make a graven image or likeness of ANYTHING & shall do EVIL in the SIGHT of the LORD thy GOD to provoke him to anger"
I find it interesting that you cherry pick your verses. Verse 19 says bowing down AND worshiping ("do not be enticed into bowing down to them AND worshiping"). The majority of Christians understand that an idol alone is not idolatry. Worshiping it is idolatry (lust for something not God)
You should NOT take the definition of idolatry in scripture out of context while preaching to others (Ephesians 5:3-7, Colossians 3:5). You are at risk (1 Corinthians 9:27).
@MrChristianBeliever Dont try and twist the WORD of GOD!!!! He said what HE meant and every time you bow down to a 2dollar plastic statue made of wax, wood, concrete, mud, ceramic it is IDOLTRY....period. Breaking the 1 & 2nd Commandment of The Lord God who is a jealous God. I dont fornicate, commit adultry, covet, no foolish talking, jesting and ALWAYS giving MY God the Honor and worship DUE only to HIM, not mary, priest, popes, pastors, rocks, ghost/apparitions.
@1978dagreat I think it is you who is twisting words around.... Since we don't worship Mary, priests, popes, pastors, rocks, ghost/apparitions, some one must have lied to you about the truth.....
@stevesilvia Yes, you all are worshipping mary, whether you want to except that fact is on you. When Jesus comes in all His fabulous Glory, that may be when the truth will come out. Mary wont be by his side, as a matter of fact no one has even proven she is alive now. Ghost & Apparitions are just that and satan can shape shift into anything or person. Please give me a place, date and eyewitness to her "resurrection". Jesus had a place, date and eyewitnesses of both his resurrection and ascension
@1978dagreat Mary worship comes from The Roman Imperial cult. They at one point invoked the Magna Mater (GREAT MOTHER). The name Mithra is just another variation of the same word but later viewed as masculine (ignorant translations from scholars). The word Mater, mother, the Jewish Mattron (Metatron, later interpreted as an angel) & the English word "Matter" all implied Earth as mother that gives birth to physical things, i.e. nature. the cult transitioned right into Roman Christianity.
@1978dagreat & to this day in Romanian (most close language of the common Romans today) the word Mare/Maria means Big or Great, & used as a term for sea or oceans. The Virgin ideas came from the winter solstice Dec 20-23 the sun used to rise on the horizon out of the constellation Virgo/The Virgin, that was part of the Saturnalia (today's X-mas) which meant birth of the Satur/Star/Astar (now salvator is more common) & invoked in the original Roman Catholic rites in Latin.
You need to block this guy @1978dagreat. He is preaching that he has started a new church that holds all the truth of scriptures. He is only using is personal understanding of scripture to tell everyone what they need to believe just like all youtube Protestants do. He is not here to discuss scripture but dictate his fallible interpretation.
"Im not doing anything more or less than what you are doing yourself!"
Yes you are!
You are here on a Catholic video seeking recruits for your personal church by telling Catholics that only your church understands scriptures correctly.
I don't go to Protestant videos to tell them they are incorrect and need to convert.
I am not doing what you are doing.
"Scriptures clear, when u "carve" an "image/likeness" of anything = idoltry"
Why would I need what? A statue of Jesus or Mary or Joeseph? I don't need a statue of them. Who ever said Catholics need statues of anyone besides you?
Why would anyone keep a picture of a relative who passed away? Why do people make statues of other people if not to remember them and recall how they lived their lives?
"Peter says we are ALL a Royal Priesthood 1 Pet 2:5,9"
You might want to read that chapter over again and include the rest of scripture. You skipped v1 concerning your behavior and v13,17 you clearly avoid.
In a sense we are all priests. The church Jesus established is hierarchical. Roles have been layed out and authority has been defined (Ephesians 4:11, 1 Timothy 3:1,8; 5:17, Titus 1:5). Were you appointed to direct God's church?
@stevesilvia You don't worship her, but pray to her to pray for you? Why not just keep it between you & God or Jesus? It's thru Jesus (& his ways) you get to the Father, not Mary, isn't that biblical? Does it mention "In my name & Mary's 'or 'in my name'? Also does it really do anything invoking a saint? Why not pray to God directly 'who knows before you ask'? Does or doesn't he 'know before you ask'? The NT's religion is actually quite simple & if admitted to shows nothing of RC is needed
@1978dagreat Few days ago, I was jesting around with a friend = I apologized to God & apologized to my friend = what GOD told ALL to do in Matt 18:15 about confession "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee go & tell him his fault between thee & him *ALONE* if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother" = a priest is NOT in the factor. 1st step=go to person alone; 2nd step=take 2/3 witnesses, 3rd step=go to the church, 4th step=if he refuse=cast away,5th step= I can bind/loose
@1978dagreat MATTHEW 18:15-22....But IF I seek forgiveness from a person Jesus said to give it 70X7. Sola Scriptura is divinely pure and all that is needed for the Plan of Salvation through Jesus Christ the Rock of his church. Praise Him, who shed His blood and sits on the right hand of God as our only mediator. Amen! People spend more hours devotn their time to mary than to Jesus...look at all these prayers & youtube video's God is jealous!
Perhaps a priest is not in the factor for you but scripture clearly says a priest is in the factor. "...Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the LORD is guilty and must confess the sin they have committed. They must make full restitution for the wrong they have done...the restitution belongs to the LORD and must be given to the priest" (Numbers 5:5-10).
You are the Pope of your own church seeking recruits.
I did not twist it. You are twisting what he said. Scripture says idolatry is "bowing down AND worshiping". The word AND is not the same as OR which you are trying to twist. Christians through history have never believed that pictures or statues themselves are forbidden by God. It is you who are making that false claim.
"The Lord God who is a jealous God"
That is why you must not bow AND worship an idol such as money or sex or statues.
@MrChristianBeliever Scriptures clear, when u "carve" an "image/likeness" of anything = idoltry even if its just in your possession its idoltry, otherwise why do you need it? It cant hear, talk, smell, save, or assist you in anything. Its a useless distraction, when Jesus said "come unto ME heavy laden". Catholics = graven images Protestant may have a photo of Jesus, but dont bow to it like catholics do to mary. Priest = Eunuchs to avoid all the sexual sins=save on all the lawsuits or marry!
"I dont fornicate, commit adultry, covet, no foolish talking, jesting and ALWAYS giving MY God the Honor and worship DUE only to HIM, not mary, priest, popes, pastors, rocks, ghost/apparitions."
Neither do Catholics. Any person who does is not a Catholic. Perhaps you are going to tell me that you should not honor other people?
There was no such thing a the virgin birth & is not biblical. The Roman Church turned the narrative into a virgin birth myth because it was trying to convert & dealing with a pagan public that were familiar with virgin birth stories. In fact the lineage of Jesus is there in Mathew & verifies that Jesus is of Joseph's seed, & also implies that Joseph impregnated Mary before marriage, which to a church obsessed with purity, chastity etc. changed the interpretation & facts.
@asherasator sorry, we don't follow your personal interpretations of the historical facts.... The beliefs of the first Christians disagree with your comments.
@stevesilvia "the first Christians"? Virgin birth has absolutely nothing to do with the first Christians. Many traditions that are part of common Christianity are not from its original idea, it's well known the 2 main holidays X-mas & Easter are both ancient pagan holidays & not original. Also other key elements important to the 'original' faith have been ignored or left out. it is well known the Roman church has a history of lies, forgery, murder, propaganda & deceit.
@asherasator, like I said, we don't follow your personal interpretations. History speaks louder than your gossip opinions which you pass off as truth....
@stevesilvia "Gossip opinions"? Do u read outside ur church source? U must not bcus u have no idea what I'm talking about. U must not know anything of the history, myths & stories or religious cultures of he mid-east Eurasia or Europe. Roman Catholicism always thrived on pure ignorance. I recommend you read "The Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop for free online. It's good start for u & any other literal Christians who have no idea why the believe what they believe. Sometimes ppl need to grow up
@asherasator Hislop's work has been described as conspiracy theory propaganda which mixed "sketchy knowledge of Middle Eastern antiquity with a vivid imagination.... Is that where you get your bible study????
@stevesilvia No Hislop is not where I get my bible study, but he goes over a vast amount of pagan material that a lot of Christians don't get exposed to for parallel Christian & pagan myths. He was ordained as a minister & as far as conspiracy goes who says that? Did u read the book? If u didn't read & judge it for urself. He's not the only source for those points, there is a vast amount of material out there. Have you read the Ras Shamra liturgical writing? How about the Enuma Elish?
@stevesilvia Is SATURNALIA the Roman Christmas? Did ISHTAR get resurrected from her father EA/YAH in the Babylonian stories? Is TAMMUZ/DUMMUZI a resurrected god? Is Osirus a resurrected god? Did Shaher try to put his throne above ELYON & get hurled into the Abyss from the Ras Shamra? Are many divine names from the Ras Shamra the same divine names in the early old testament. Did the Ras Shamra influence the OT since it is scholarly accepted as an earlier text?
@stevesilvia Anybody can take a line here & there & invent any theory they want (that's why there's too many denominations), when a biblical book is read each line must be understood in the context of the point they're making with that paragraph or within that specific book, that same line doesn't float somewhere else when it's used out of it's context & not the same thing nor challenge something that is very clearly stated. Roman Catholic beliefs r not bible based. It's that simple.
@stevesilvia That's a very lame answer, go beyond Hislop. I understand these topics r outside ur experience. But the true propaganda is from Roman Catholicism & the mess it made in history & Christian religion. How about the Dead Sea Scrolls have u read those? Do u know anything about them or what they are & where they come from? That's gossip too I suppose. How about the Cathar massacre I suppose that was Christlike?
@asherasator you don't know me so don't assume you do...Like I said, I don't respond to gossip. I am here to share the Word of God with everyone. Your lack of history knowledge shows by assuming that only Catholics sin.
@stevesilvia I never implied only Catholics sin. That is the furthest thing from my point or intention. & you don't know me either, I have an extensive background in history & religion so don't assume anything. I'm stating facts that surround Christendom & issues of modern times especially since there's a ton of archaeological evidence & scrolls that have become public that all affect the way Christianity has been promoted & understood. Wer no longer in a medieval church controlled society.
"when a biblical book is read each line must be understood in the context"
Who decides when a passage from scripture is read out of context? No Christian in the world agrees fully on any given book and its meaning. So I ask, who decides what is in context and what is not in context?
I have read many Protestants on youtube say that scripture authorizes them to decide.
@MrChristianBeliever Good question. All denominations believe they're correct. In my opinion they're all wrong. Every human being has a right to study the books, no institution has a monopoly on God or truth. The first precedent is logic: looking at the stories as metaphors, allegories etc. & understanding that a poetic language was used to describe things & was common for ancient ppl. God didn't get mad at Adam over literally eating an apple, which is ridiculous & means something else.
@MrChristianBeliever The 2nd precedent is history. When an institution murders ppl in the name of god for political & land grabbing reasons it's fair to say it isn't divine or god inspired. I think some of the atrocities are rationalized by Christians as part of an "Armageddon" fulfillment & that's how deep inside ppl deal with the murderous past. Also many early Christians did not agree with official interpretations & theology. & translations from 1 language into another can be problematic
@MrChristianBeliever Christianity originally took root with folk ppl & the uneducated because they were easy to convert using common pagan stories of divine births & crucifiction (nothing new, unique or different than other mystery cults) that were known all over Europe, Eurasia & the middle east applying em to the Jesus story. That's why Jesus is described as 'man & god', meaning there's a historical element in the narrative & also the common nature vegetative & astro religion of the region
@MrChristianBeliever Does it make sense to interpret the 'virgin' from a word that simply meant young woman? Or how does it rationalize in reality that Mary is divinely impregnated yet the line of Joseph is stated, meaning Jesus is from Joseph? It takes bending & twisting logic with faith & fantasy to say "God can do anything so it's possible" as the only way to deal with it. That's why the church didn't want ppl to read the bible bcus it's full of things that went against official dogma.
Also this whole idea that the human race is cursed by God from original sin for eating an apple? Does it really mean a piece of fruit was ingested & mankind was cursed? NO it cannot & does not mean that. So that whole basis proves & sets the precedent that there are allegories & meanings & are not meant to be taken literal & the rest of it must be dealt from that perspective. What kind of god would curse mankind over fruit? Yet forgiveness is something associated with God?
& the answer that all that was set up for Jesus is null & void. The concept of Jesus as a final sacrifice was for primitive ppl that believed no different than tribal witch doctors that god require animal sacrifices for sin or rain. The book of Leviticus wants blood yet later many verses say god doesn't require it? How is that? God changed his mind? Blood sacrifices were brought in by Pharisee priests by the Hasmoneans after the Macabeean revolt & forced out the bread & wine cult of Melkizedek
Jesus was doing nothing more than restoring the Melkizedek bread & wine religion. That's why he's called in almost any common church 'A priest in the line of Melkizedek'. These parts of history are almost unknown to average Christians & clergy. Most have no idea what happened during the Macabeean revolt & what it meant. The bible's history is constantly describing different cults at war with each other. With every cult there is a political & religious ideal, back then as it is today.
@MrChristianBeliever Jesus is called 'son of god' or describes God as his father etc. & in the oldest versions of the new testament the crowd chose JESUS BAR ABBAS to be set free. Bar=Son & Abbas=Father. The oldest versions have the name 'Jesus Bar Abbas', later they dropped the name Jesus. Why? Bcus it implies incredible things. & the original author wud not confuse the reader on purpose by bringing in another 'son of god' or 'son of the father' loosely into the narrative.
You sure have a lot of opinions about God and the meaning of scripture. If your opinion is correct, then you must be saying everyone who does not agree with you is incorrect. Is that a fair assumption?
If that is not a correct assumption, then your statements do not make sense. Logic clearly says that two people who do not fully agree cannot both be right since there is only one truth.
In essense you have started your own church of which you are the Pope and congregation.
@MrChristianBeliever I am simply reclaiming Christianity & what it really was from the forgeries, ignorance & lies of an Imperial institution that hybridized several religions into one for the sake of unifying an empire. I strip away the non-sense that was for an ignorant public. "Milk for babies & solid food for men", it's time Christians really grow up. & yes either I am right or the Church(es) are right. I know for certain they're wrong & delusional with no footing in reality or history.
I know but you are in line with many who have already done that. Martin Luther, John Calvin, and Joseph Smith are but a few examples. You claim they are wrong and they claim you are wrong. This is nothing new but the same old protesting the truth that has been going on since Jesus was taken captive after the last supper.
"I strip away the non-sense that was for an ignorant public."
I know. The many thousands before you did that too.
@MrChristianBeliever From what I see of the protestant churches & Roman Catholic clergy I've challenged, they're simply one side of the same coin. They cherry pick from the choices of the Roman Catholic (Constantine's pagan foundation). Which is all wrong from the get-go. For a "religion of truth" it sure does kill a lot & cause nothing but conflict trying to promote a religion of peace? That's because it's a false religion based on too many untruths masked as truth. It's a sham & hurt society
@MrChristianBeliever I live in America & freedom of religion is a wonderful thing to not have to live by an imposed dogma, old or new. & if ppl can't handle an intelligent discussion of differences or discoveries then that's immature. & just bcus something lasted awhile doesn't mean it's right. Most ppl are too uneducated & inexperienced too even tackle some of the things I mentioned. Many things in time later on get viewed as obsolete or ridiculous as a society gets further educated.
"if ppl can't handle an intelligent discussion of differences or discoveries then that's immature"
That is why I don't understand what you are doing here. You seem to think God appointed you as his personal spokesperson and no one else. In my opinion, that is not very intelligent. Most Protestants on youtube come across preaching that God agrees with them and I don't see much difference with you.
"yes either I am right or the Church(es) are right."
Wait did you really just say that you could be wrong or am I misunderstanding you?
"I know for certain they're wrong"
Nope, I did not misunderstand you. You are Pope of your church that speaks all truth about scripture. There are over 35,000 denominations that make that same claim. I see nothing special that makes you stand out among them.
@MrChristianBeliever The bottom line is how can anybody believe in a Virgin Birth? Especially when historically the virgin birth was solar based & understood in other cultures & religions. Either the Virgin Birth is the sun out of Virgo, or it happened on earth to a human being? Which one seems more plausible? Which one is really more logical? The Logos "The Word" is the root for logic, divine logic, meaning god was & is Intelligence, conscience, that was applied to Jesus with a foolish public.
Are you telling me you are interested in what others believe? You have made it pretty clear that you know the truth about scripture infallibly so why would you ask such a question?
@MrChristianBeliever The NT hints towards Virgin Birth as an astronomical event with the '3 wise men from the east', THE MAGI. Why wud 3 Magi (of a different culture or religion) care for a messiah? Even that they are labeled 'Magi' implies they are of a different occult religion, that term is not used for any other ppl biblically & is of Chaldean origin. At minimum the more correct interpretation of the Virgin birth is either Jesus was born in the sign of Virgo or it's simply the sun birth.
@MrChristianBeliever & the Magi presence in the narrative also imply that this is of their religion to even travel to see the future king, in other words the religion of this event is in line with Magi's religion & one & the same, so the real religion of Jesus does in fact reside in harmony with eastern ideas of the Magi. To be really Christian or like Jesus is to use Logos-logic-Intelligence. Are we not all Sons & Daughters of God & didn't Jesus say 'greater works than these shall he do'?
Respond to this video... & on those grounds alone show that its not a real divine institution, its theology is null & void, let alone unrealistic. God wants ppl to use intelligence as well as faith. Now if the church admits its history, evolution (itself must confess) & borrowed, evolved from, inspired & took religious ideas, ceremonies, celebrations, myths & stories from other cultures, cults or came out of a pagan past then that wud unify ppl culturally & may attract others that know the truth
@stevesilvia Even the scriptures quoted on this video r completely taken out of context trying to verify Mary. Also nowhere in the bible does it say to pray to her or even chant "Hail Mary" over & over, in fact Mathew 6:7 specifically says Jesus is against repetition. If anything its promoting a simple idea that strands in opposition to Roman Catholicism & other denominations on prayer let alone anything else. Pageantry & repetition r not necessities or praying to anybody other than God.
@asherasator Consider the prayers spoken of in Revelation 4:8 offered day and night without ceasing: 'Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!' Another repetitious prayer pleasing to God is contained in Psalm 136: 'For his steadfast love endures for ever.' This phrase is repeated over twenty-five times. Finally, Matthew 26:44 tells us that Jesus himself prayed the same prayer three times in the garden in Gethsemane."
@stevesilvia The 4 creatures in Rev 4:8 r they humans?
Mathew 26:44 Jesus is reflecting on a very specific thing in Gethsemane & meditating on a very serious situation that's about to happen. It's not the same thing for worship nor does it imply that. Once again you take verses out of context. The Psalms are SONGS & the verse u quote has some thing different before it for each line. Nor does anything you mention bypass Mathew 6 which is very clear. Cmon get real. U take verses out of context.
@asherasator according to your personal interpretation of the Scriptures, how many times is too many, as repetition, to say the Lords prayer?? twice a day? or twice a week? I await your answer....
@stevesilvia Prove Mary was anything other than a mother for Jesus. IT'S COMPLETELY UN-BIBLICAL & only from later "traditions" of the Roman church. & please don't just quote a line that says 'grace' or 'blessed' about her because those words are used to describe anybody's child that either does great things or brings pride to parents to this day as a figure of speech. The Roman church reinterpreted history & put into a typical pagan context of the time which coincided typical myths & stories
@stevesilvia & had there been a real virgin birth the whole environment wud'v been aware of it & when Jesus grew up & challenged the Pharisee priesthood theology they wud'v succumbed easily to him as a god from a miraculous birth, ppl wud'v been waiting & expect him to do something incredible. But it didn't work like that bcus it didn't happen like that. Mary is not equivalent to the Jewish Shekinah (feminine aspect of god), she is not the Holy Ghost or Son, so what is she?
@stevesilvia If u deny the pagan origins of the typical Christian holidays then u truly know nothing of Christianity. I'll leave this discussion at that. U know it's good to learn something sometimes, I highly recommend it.

Catholics do NOT worship Mary, they venerate her. There IS a difference between worship and venerate, look it up! Catholics worship ONLY God!! Get that through your thick skulls already!
28804ecorrell 2 months ago
@28804ecorrell In all respect why do they venerate her? Mary is dead in her grave awaiting the resurrection on the last day just like everyone else that has died in Christ. Mary needed a Savior just like we all do. God picked her because he needed a righteous virgin, nothing more nothing less, she's not above anyone.
Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
mikestheman3 1 month ago
@mikestheman3 it's meaning is that once you die the state of your soul at death determines if you are saved or not and there is nothing you can know or do after that to change your destination. Paul writes in Philippians 1:23–24, "I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body." Paul says he will be with Jesus when he dies.

uhm...i do not mean to be disrespectful to another Christian denomination but i'd like 2 point out that in Matt 1:25 is says she was pretty much no longer a virgin cuz joseph 'knew' her. srry.
Oh, Happy Advent and Christmas to you all. ^^

FAITH ALONE SAVES! ARE YOU WITH JESUS?
I see people saying this on the streets... TOTALLY illogical.
WWJD? This is a better phrase. Actions speak louder than words. Muslims got devotion and actions much better than Christians/ Catholics ...just a little too far. Shame you people crying saved don't share the same devotion. Its something.g we can learn from them.
WWJD? Do the right thing.

I have discovered for myself that st. Mary is like a railing on the path of Jesus Christ. It protects you from the pride of thinking "I am the choosen who can walk on Jesus Christ path".
That is: you can sacrifice your intensions and spiritual growth to her, so you are sure you don't need to bother if your prayers are "correct" or not.
kukulis100 2 months ago
@jewsdidwtc1001 We don't worship Mary....you simply repeat the gossip, which is the doctrines of men, that you read on the internet, instead of reading the bible. "JESUS CHRIST is the one true Messiah. that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him."
That is what the Catholic church teaches.

As you label me here you're labeling yourself.
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever Anyways I found it interesting that Tyndale's translation from Greek of Matthew 1:23 uses 'Maid' instead of 'Virgin'. The word "Parthenos" was also used for the goddess Athena & various other pagan ways. The RC called pagan religions 'evil' or 'of the devil', yet that's precisely what it's main holidays & borrowings came from. Uv resorted to slandering me personally when u can't answer the question or comment intelligently as I brought up the past of ur franchise.

"murder, crusades & inquisitions"
There you go again, ignoring all others.

@MrChristianBeliever RC used force & scare tactics to gain its footing along with adapting itself to pagan ways by integrating the standard holidays & folk beliefs into it to gain converts. It directly destroyed historical documents wiping out evidence & knowledge of the past that it didn't want known. It acted as the stupifying force Par Excellence, & directly led to underground organizations opposing it which eventually developed into ideas that became principles of modern governments.
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever & just like from the early days there were several views & always will be, bcus of mainly (1) literal translation (2) lack of understanding the development of the books (3) not understanding where many OT stories & influences came from (4) self-righteousness (5) refusal to face reality, facts & change when something's obsolete & silly (6) cannot admit it's wrong (7) & with all of these things combined creates pure delusion & lack of truth.
NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

GOOD DAY!
asherasator 6 months ago

MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@asherasator

MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@asherasator
Satan does not care about these verses. Do you?

"Where does it say to chant it 7,500 times?"
Where does scripture tell us to chant anything more than one time? Lets see!
Revelation 4:8, Psalm 136, Matthew 26:44 say it in KJV (the only bible you will accept since it is not Catholic).
Oh wait, Im sorry, your version of the bible has removed those verses because they do not conform to your standards right?

@MrChristianBeliever My initial post is about the Virgin Birth, & there were plenty of other posts with different views on Mary here.

I only respond when people make false accusations against the RCC. I did not seek you out. I do not want a debate. Debating and dictating is pointless. Discussion is fine. You have not left any room for discussion. You have made it clear that it is your way or the highway.
"What's with the 'behavior' comment?"
Dictating your faith to others.
MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever you're not the video author & you didn't have to ask any question concerning any of my posts & just let it go. But your ego wanted to engage. & What's with the 'behavior' comment? I'm not misbehaving or being overly aggressive, & just stating what I understand from a lifetime worth of biblical, historical & religious study. Which does not, can not & will not conform to the Roman Catholic non-sense that goes against reality of life's biological facts at the human level ...

MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever Question: When did Satan become evil? In Numbers 22:22 the angel sent by god to intercept Balaam is Satan in the Hebrew. The Pharisees & Saducees had no concept of Satan as an evil being, all good & bad was from IHVH.
Isaiah 14:12 doesn't apply because that was borrowed from the older Ras Shamra texts(Canaan) & was a metaphor of the sun Shaher/Lucifer setting his throne above the earth god Aleyan/Elion (zenith) then hurled into his mother Hellel the abyss (sunset).
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever If the Pharisees & Saducees had no concept of Satan as evil, how is RC & other duelist branches of Christianity a linear evilution of that "Jewish" religion that doesn't have that idea?
Did the RC invent an evil Satan & for what reason? In all the branches of the Jewish religion do they pray to saints to pray for them? The first st. wasn't canonized till 993CE.

Get real, grow up & face the facts.
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever & what I meant by 'does not promote intelligence' (since I have to spell it out bcus u don't get it) is that logical things that can be deducted, calculated & reasoned with using the factual tangible evidence (biblical books & scrolls) from a scientific perspective as well as obvious deductions of observable reality that every person experiences in life (like virgin births don't happen to humans) is frowned upon. Do you get it yet? Logic is a God given product & blessing.

"Deuteronomy 4:16,25"
I find it interesting that you cherry pick your verses. Verse 19 says bowing down AND worshiping ("do not be enticed into bowing down to them AND worshiping"). The majority of Christians understand that an idol alone is not idolatry. Worshiping it is idolatry (lust for something not God)
You should NOT take the definition of idolatry in scripture out of context while preaching to others (Ephesians 5:3-7, Colossians 3:5). You are at risk (1 Corinthians 9:27).

I did not twist it. You are twisting what he said. Scripture says idolatry is "bowing down AND worshiping". The word AND is not the same as OR which you are trying to twist. Christians through history have never believed that pictures or statues themselves are forbidden by God. It is you who are making that false claim.

There was no such thing a the virgin birth & is not biblical. The Roman Church turned the narrative into a virgin birth myth because it was trying to convert & dealing with a pagan public that were familiar with virgin birth stories. In fact the lineage of Jesus is there in Mathew & verifies that Jesus is of Joseph's seed, & also implies that Joseph impregnated Mary before marriage, which to a church obsessed with purity, chastity etc. changed the interpretation & facts.
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator sorry, we don't follow your personal interpretations of the historical facts.... The beliefs of the first Christians disagree with your comments.
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia "the first Christians"? Virgin birth has absolutely nothing to do with the first Christians. Many traditions that are part of common Christianity are not from its original idea, it's well known the 2 main holidays X-mas & Easter are both ancient pagan holidays & not original. Also other key elements important to the 'original' faith have been ignored or left out. it is well known the Roman church has a history of lies, forgery, murder, propaganda & deceit.

@asherasator, like I said, we don't follow your personal interpretations. History speaks louder than your gossip opinions which you pass off as truth....
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia "Gossip opinions"? Do u read outside ur church source? U must not bcus u have no idea what I'm talking about. U must not know anything of the history, myths & stories or religious cultures of he mid-east Eurasia or Europe. Roman Catholicism always thrived on pure ignorance. I recommend you read "The Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop for free online. It's good start for u & any other literal Christians who have no idea why the believe what they believe. Sometimes ppl need to grow up
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator Hislop's work has been described as conspiracy theory propaganda which mixed "sketchy knowledge of Middle Eastern antiquity with a vivid imagination.... Is that where you get your bible study????
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia No Hislop is not where I get my bible study, but he goes over a vast amount of pagan material that a lot of Christians don't get exposed to for parallel Christian & pagan myths. He was ordained as a minister & as far as conspiracy goes who says that? Did u read the book? If u didn't read & judge it for urself. He's not the only source for those points, there is a vast amount of material out there. Have you read the Ras Shamra liturgical writing? How about the Enuma Elish?
asherasator 7 months ago
@stevesilvia Is SATURNALIA the Roman Christmas? Did ISHTAR get resurrected from her father EA/YAH in the Babylonian stories? Is TAMMUZ/DUMMUZI a resurrected god? Is Osirus a resurrected god? Did Shaher try to put his throne above ELYON & get hurled into the Abyss from the Ras Shamra? Are many divine names from the Ras Shamra the same divine names in the early old testament. Did the Ras Shamra influence the OT since it is scholarly accepted as an earlier text?
asherasator 7 months ago
@stevesilvia Anybody can take a line here & there & invent any theory they want (that's why there's too many denominations), when a biblical book is read each line must be understood in the context of the point they're making with that paragraph or within that specific book, that same line doesn't float somewhere else when it's used out of it's context & not the same thing nor challenge something that is very clearly stated. Roman Catholic beliefs r not bible based. It's that simple.
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator Your Hislop bible study is just conspiracy theory and propaganda...I don't respond to gossip....
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia That's a very lame answer, go beyond Hislop. I understand these topics r outside ur experience. But the true propaganda is from Roman Catholicism & the mess it made in history & Christian religion. How about the Dead Sea Scrolls have u read those? Do u know anything about them or what they are & where they come from? That's gossip too I suppose. How about the Cathar massacre I suppose that was Christlike?
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator you don't know me so don't assume you do...Like I said, I don't respond to gossip. I am here to share the Word of God with everyone. Your lack of history knowledge shows by assuming that only Catholics sin.
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia I never implied only Catholics sin. That is the furthest thing from my point or intention. & you don't know me either, I have an extensive background in history & religion so don't assume anything. I'm stating facts that surround Christendom & issues of modern times especially since there's a ton of archaeological evidence & scrolls that have become public that all affect the way Christianity has been promoted & understood. Wer no longer in a medieval church controlled society.
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator
MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever Good question. All denominations believe they're correct. In my opinion they're all wrong. Every human being has a right to study the books, no institution has a monopoly on God or truth. The first precedent is logic: looking at the stories as metaphors, allegories etc. & understanding that a poetic language was used to describe things & was common for ancient ppl. God didn't get mad at Adam over literally eating an apple, which is ridiculous & means something else.
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever The 2nd precedent is history. When an institution murders ppl in the name of god for political & land grabbing reasons it's fair to say it isn't divine or god inspired. I think some of the atrocities are rationalized by Christians as part of an "Armageddon" fulfillment & that's how deep inside ppl deal with the murderous past. Also many early Christians did not agree with official interpretations & theology. & translations from 1 language into another can be problematic
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever Christianity originally took root with folk ppl & the uneducated because they were easy to convert using common pagan stories of divine births & crucifiction (nothing new, unique or different than other mystery cults) that were known all over Europe, Eurasia & the middle east applying em to the Jesus story. That's why Jesus is described as 'man & god', meaning there's a historical element in the narrative & also the common nature vegetative & astro religion of the region
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever Does it make sense to interpret the 'virgin' from a word that simply meant young woman? Or how does it rationalize in reality that Mary is divinely impregnated yet the line of Joseph is stated, meaning Jesus is from Joseph? It takes bending & twisting logic with faith & fantasy to say "God can do anything so it's possible" as the only way to deal with it. That's why the church didn't want ppl to read the bible bcus it's full of things that went against official dogma.
asherasator 6 months ago
Also this whole idea that the human race is cursed by God from original sin for eating an apple? Does it really mean a piece of fruit was ingested & mankind was cursed? NO it cannot & does not mean that. So that whole basis proves & sets the precedent that there are allegories & meanings & are not meant to be taken literal & the rest of it must be dealt from that perspective. What kind of god would curse mankind over fruit? Yet forgiveness is something associated with God?
asherasator 6 months ago
& the answer that all that was set up for Jesus is null & void. The concept of Jesus as a final sacrifice was for primitive ppl that believed no different than tribal witch doctors that god require animal sacrifices for sin or rain. The book of Leviticus wants blood yet later many verses say god doesn't require it? How is that? God changed his mind? Blood sacrifices were brought in by Pharisee priests by the Hasmoneans after the Macabeean revolt & forced out the bread & wine cult of Melkizedek
asherasator 6 months ago
Jesus was doing nothing more than restoring the Melkizedek bread & wine religion. That's why he's called in almost any common church 'A priest in the line of Melkizedek'. These parts of history are almost unknown to average Christians & clergy. Most have no idea what happened during the Macabeean revolt & what it meant. The bible's history is constantly describing different cults at war with each other. With every cult there is a political & religious ideal, back then as it is today.
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever Jesus is called 'son of god' or describes God as his father etc. & in the oldest versions of the new testament the crowd chose JESUS BAR ABBAS to be set free. Bar=Son & Abbas=Father. The oldest versions have the name 'Jesus Bar Abbas', later they dropped the name Jesus. Why? Bcus it implies incredible things. & the original author wud not confuse the reader on purpose by bringing in another 'son of god' or 'son of the father' loosely into the narrative.
asherasator 6 months ago
@asherasator
MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever I am simply reclaiming Christianity & what it really was from the forgeries, ignorance & lies of an Imperial institution that hybridized several religions into one for the sake of unifying an empire. I strip away the non-sense that was for an ignorant public. "Milk for babies & solid food for men", it's time Christians really grow up. & yes either I am right or the Church(es) are right. I know for certain they're wrong & delusional with no footing in reality or history.
asherasator 6 months ago
@asherasator
"I am simply reclaiming Christianity"
I know but you are in line with many who have already done that. Martin Luther, John Calvin, and Joseph Smith are but a few examples. You claim they are wrong and they claim you are wrong. This is nothing new but the same old protesting the truth that has been going on since Jesus was taken captive after the last supper.
"I strip away the non-sense that was for an ignorant public."
I know. The many thousands before you did that too.
MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever From what I see of the protestant churches & Roman Catholic clergy I've challenged, they're simply one side of the same coin. They cherry pick from the choices of the Roman Catholic (Constantine's pagan foundation). Which is all wrong from the get-go. For a "religion of truth" it sure does kill a lot & cause nothing but conflict trying to promote a religion of peace? That's because it's a false religion based on too many untruths masked as truth. It's a sham & hurt society
asherasator 6 months ago
@asherasator
"From what I see of the protestant churches & Roman Catholic clergy"
I am not really interested in how you see anyone in the church. If I was, I would make a video asking for peoples opinions.
"it sure does kill a lot & cause nothing but conflict"
Did the RCC come to your home demanding that you believe what it teaches? NO. Did you come to this video to argue about scripture? YES.
I think it is you who are creating the conflict by coming here to argue (Romans 16:17-18, Gal 5).

Many things in time later on get viewed as obsolete or ridiculous as a society gets further educated.
asherasator 6 months ago
@asherasator

@asherasator
"how can anybody believe in a Virgin Birth?"
Are you telling me you are interested in what others believe? You have made it pretty clear that you know the truth about scripture infallibly so why would you ask such a question?
MrChristianBeliever 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever The NT hints towards Virgin Birth as an astronomical event with the '3 wise men from the east', THE MAGI. Why wud 3 Magi (of a different culture or religion) care for a messiah? Even that they are labeled 'Magi' implies they are of a different occult religion, that term is not used for any other ppl biblically & is of Chaldean origin. At minimum the more correct interpretation of the Virgin birth is either Jesus was born in the sign of Virgo or it's simply the sun birth.
asherasator 6 months ago
@MrChristianBeliever & the Magi presence in the narrative also imply that this is of their religion to even travel to see the future king, in other words the religion of this event is in line with Magi's religion & one & the same, so the real religion of Jesus does in fact reside in harmony with eastern ideas of the Magi. To be really Christian or like Jesus is to use Logos-logic-Intelligence. Are we not all Sons & Daughters of God & didn't Jesus say 'greater works than these shall he do'?
asherasator 6 months ago
Respond to this video... & on those grounds alone show that its not a real divine institution, its theology is null & void, let alone unrealistic. God wants ppl to use intelligence as well as faith. Now if the church admits its history, evolution (itself must confess) & borrowed, evolved from, inspired & took religious ideas, ceremonies, celebrations, myths & stories from other cultures, cults or came out of a pagan past then that wud unify ppl culturally & may attract others that know the truth
asherasator 7 months ago
@stevesilvia Even the scriptures quoted on this video r completely taken out of context trying to verify Mary. Also nowhere in the bible does it say to pray to her or even chant "Hail Mary" over & over, in fact Mathew 6:7 specifically says Jesus is against repetition. If anything its promoting a simple idea that strands in opposition to Roman Catholicism & other denominations on prayer let alone anything else. Pageantry & repetition r not necessities or praying to anybody other than God.
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator Consider the prayers spoken of in Revelation 4:8 offered day and night without ceasing: 'Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!' Another repetitious prayer pleasing to God is contained in Psalm 136: 'For his steadfast love endures for ever.' This phrase is repeated over twenty-five times. Finally, Matthew 26:44 tells us that Jesus himself prayed the same prayer three times in the garden in Gethsemane."
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia The 4 creatures in Rev 4:8 r they humans?
Mathew 26:44 Jesus is reflecting on a very specific thing in Gethsemane & meditating on a very serious situation that's about to happen. It's not the same thing for worship nor does it imply that. Once again you take verses out of context. The Psalms are SONGS & the verse u quote has some thing different before it for each line. Nor does anything you mention bypass Mathew 6 which is very clear. Cmon get real. U take verses out of context.
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator according to your personal interpretation of the Scriptures, how many times is too many, as repetition, to say the Lords prayer?? twice a day? or twice a week? I await your answer....
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia Prove Mary was anything other than a mother for Jesus. IT'S COMPLETELY UN-BIBLICAL & only from later "traditions" of the Roman church. & please don't just quote a line that says 'grace' or 'blessed' about her because those words are used to describe anybody's child that either does great things or brings pride to parents to this day as a figure of speech. The Roman church reinterpreted history & put into a typical pagan context of the time which coincided typical myths & stories
asherasator 7 months ago
@stevesilvia & had there been a real virgin birth the whole environment wud'v been aware of it & when Jesus grew up & challenged the Pharisee priesthood theology they wud'v succumbed easily to him as a god from a miraculous birth, ppl wud'v been waiting & expect him to do something incredible. But it didn't work like that bcus it didn't happen like that. Mary is not equivalent to the Jewish Shekinah (feminine aspect of god), she is not the Holy Ghost or Son, so what is she?
asherasator 7 months ago
@asherasator Mary is the mother of Jesus....
stevesilvia 7 months ago
@stevesilvia If u deny the pagan origins of the typical Christian holidays then u truly know nothing of Christianity. I'll leave this discussion at that. U know it's good to learn something sometimes, I highly recommend it.
