  • Nice grouping from standing.

  • i know you probably bn asked this plenty of times hope u will answer it again now the caliber conversions are all compatble with s dingle witness frame yes or no?

  • I do not know.

    Jeff

  • Hey Buddy ! Once again I find myself looking for your advice - I hope you do as well as last time , as I still love my Charter 2000 carbine . Any thoughts / concerns about this pistol in 38 Super ? Some blogs post reports of cracked frames / slides and suggest that they be " resprung " outta the box ... I realize it's a high pressure round when compared to the 9 or 45 ...I trust and value YOUR opinion ... what say you ? An 18 shot 38 super for ccw makes my sticker peck out ....

  • Is it possible to reciprocate the slide with the safety engaged? Or is the slide locked like a 1911?

  • great straight to the point review. love my witness.45

  • Can you Convert the .45ACP Version to the 10mm Version, via Just a Barrel Change? Or can you not do that AT ALL?

  • You will need a new barrel, extractor, and magazine, and possibly a new slide.

    Jeff

  • @Gunblastdotcom Thanks Jeff. Keep up the Good work.

  • @Privat3Kag3

You can order the slide/barrel/mag kit from EAA direct. I have a long slide with target sights in .22lr, a blued 9mm slide, and a "Wonderfinish" 45acp slide all for my full-size blued frame. Makes a nice range setup for reasonable money.

  • i wanted to know if this weapon can eat all types of ammo? I have been debating on a Berretta px45, p345 ruger, ria 1911,taurus pt845, i have owned more then three 40 cals and i just sold them all to step it up to 45 and my taurus ate every type of ammo cheap or top grade. I saw this gun in my local gun store and i love the way it feels!!! Iam also looking for that browing longevity. i highly respect your veiw on what gun to purchase. I want to cc it and also use it for home defense along wm 12g

  • Excellent pistol, and it feeds and fires everything that I put in it.

    Jeff

  • @1Demonheadbussa get the p345, great gun, eats any ammo u throw in it. da/sa, decocker, accesorry rail, and its pretty accurate. besides 1911's are picky eaters, berrettas are not the best looking, and i cant say much for the taurus. get the stainless steel u wont regret it

  • Hey Jeff, can you do a review on the new EAA K2 in .45acp ?

  • I would like to.

    Jeff

  • I was wondering if you know if EAA was going to import the SAR K2-45? I read a review about it in Combat Handguns but I read on a forum that they were going to drop it.

  • Another import...

  • What was that suppressed rifle you were shooting?

  • Kel-Tec RFB 308 Bullpup. There is a video, and an article in our ARCHIVE section.

  • I need this music. Any idea where I can find it?

  • It's not available for sale, but if you'll email my brother Boge (boge@gunblast.com) he'll send you an MP3.

  • i have an tanfoglio eaa 45 acp, i noticed theres a crack on my slide looks like its going to go.. i was wondering is it possible to change out just the slide with any kind of 45 acp? or should i change both slide and barrel? and what kind of brand or size should i look for with the right fitment for this pistol..?

  • Contact EAA about this problem.

    Jeff

  • The " locking lever " is also a decocker right?

  • @kakasanti Nope. This pistol has no decocker. You have to manually drop the hammer if you want to shoot double action mode. I personally believe this is unsafe. I've had a round accidently go off when I trying to manually decock my Beretta Cheetah.

  • I shot one of these at the range the other day in 10mm and loved it.... I was already a 10mm owner/advocate so I'm gonna have to pick one up real soon.

  • so does the witness have the same trigger problem the cz does

or did they not copy that too

I ve always been curious about the witness

but i've been burned before buying guns without getting input from owners or people that have actually shot one.

Is the 10mm manageable in that frame

whats your furthest distance you can keep it in a 6in grouping?

  • I have not yet fired a 10mm Wiutness, but I know of no trigger problems with the weapon.

    Jeff

  • @Gunblastdotcom

I was refering to the complaints I've heard from CZ owners that say the trigger is kinda rough and that they end up having their gunsmith smooth out or just switch to a different trigger

I was just curious if the witness was a superior gun or just a copy

Other than the minor trigger issue i hear the cz is an exellent gun

    that is the 75b

  • Every Witness that I have handled has had a very good trigger pull. However, trigger pulls are very subjective things, and what I like might not suit another person.

    Jeff

  • @satchboogyfan

Made in italy man, in the valley of the gun, no worries man, good quality.

  • I've never heard of that pistol before but when I saw the name I instantly thought of that Taking Care of Business but change the word business for witnesses if you know what I mean lol.

  • Nice hat.

  • pretty lookin piece

  • That's a nice damn group

  • Love your videos Jeff, hehe and I happen have that Confederate hat as well!

  • nice

  • What I don't understand is why there are never any to rent at the range. Besides the review how do you test one out how the polymer version shoots compared to the steel frame version. It's like having a Fiat, Italian too, in the middle of North Dakota. Who is going to work on it? Where do you find parts? Do any versions offer night sights? Is it a novelty or how is it better than the competition?

  • It is a very good weapon, and night sights are available. Any gun smith should be able to work on it. I have not fired the polymer version.

    Jeff

  • Jeff...I like your videos. Good music too.

  • Very nice accurate shooting !

  • Sweet hat.......Deo Vindice. The South will rise from the ashes, and win it's independence.

  • if u can only have one...EAA Witness or 75B....

  • I prefer the Witness, especially the 10mm.

    Jeff

  • Damn, I want one. How much?

  • @skeebert You can have mine, Baby Eagle variant, .45 ACP, $300

  • @PaleHorseWC2 I'd love to buy it, but I don't think you could ship it to Canada. =(

  • @skeebert I picked mine up for $390.

  • Imported... fail. It don't mean butt if it ain't made in the USA.

  • @FollowMyDamnedLaws: alot of the best guns aren't made in america. i'm as big a stickler as anyone about buying american when i can, but guns are NOT the area to be picky.

  • @FollowMyDamnedLaws Most times i would agree with you, but other countries make some darn fine guns. better than USA in SOME cases not many but some.

  • @fireman66767 yeah look at fn herstal they make nice guns

  • @FollowMyDamnedLaws mmkay..

  • looks like a nice gun.

    thanks
