I don't think it is fathers rights, it should be equal rights, I fought for many years for equal for equal work only to find that I now need equal rights in other spheres.

Correct, you can't get Fathers Rights without there being equal Mothers Rights. The concept is that if both parents where treated equally and without prejudiced or discrimination then the issue of rights and responsibilities would be resolved to allow what's best for children to be addressed.
