What's wrong with opening up public lands for hunting? Sounds like a great plan to me.

I'm left-leaning but see guns as a way to keep the government in check (a lesson half-learned during the theft of election 2000).
However, Gillibrand is the worst kind of gun nut- voting to make the importation of polar bear skin "trophies" legal, and to open up all public lands to hunting and trapping. She wants a national holiday for hunting & fishing. Hunters rights my ass.
Her selection also insures that her house seat will be re-won by the GOP in the next election.
