You say that this Wartburg has a 1.6 Škoda engine. But, can you put a Škoda gearbox to the Wartburg 1.3 engine?

@Triplex5014 yes...because 1.3 wartburg engine have almost same block like 1.6 AEE (VW) engine used in Škoda Felicia...german engine-adaptor-czech gearbox..also you must use 1.6 flywheel and clutch

@Triplex5014 no..you can use Škoda starter...with reductor costs about 50euro ...cheaper than wartburg starter.Škoda starter is in front of gearbox...wartburg starter is under carburettor

Wartburg was made with 4stroke engine at the end of production...it have modified frame and Volkswagen 1,3 43kW carburettor engine...bodywork is simillar...middle body was same as 353 2stroke...front and rear was different
