PFT has always and will remain relevant. In good and bad times. Why? Because, read the lyrics... when George sings these are days of the beggars and the choosers, ignorance and legitimate excuses, the rich declare themselves poor AND most of US are not sure if WE have too much... its not about the 1% nor the 99%, its about the 100% ...ALL God's children crept out the backdoor.
Its a song about where both sides, both extremes are responsible for their actions and demise.

Vevo has a video of this song but it is NOT the original. Now I can see why GM hates the music industry. They can't even leave the words on the screen with the same affects as the original alone. I agree w/a number of the commenters on this page: GM is a true, original talent kicked to the curb by Sony because he didn't play by their rules.

I have always absolutely loved this song! There is so much deep meaning to this song. A true masterpeice of feelings from George Michael. One of his best for sure! This song truly makes you think deep into your soul. George Michael was truly a poetic genius when it came to the words and feelings he put forth in this song. It made alot of us open our eyes to the truth that we were hiding from with our blinders on. Excellent song from an excellent singer!!!

Sony just didn't know what to do with a talent like GM he sent them on a curve ball, he was everything they wanted, a wicked singer with good looks but he had other ideas, he didn't give a shit about the industry he cared about his craft and he's underrated even to this day it's ridiculous! No artist in the modern era has come up with a song as important as this one and I dare say we'll never see a talent like George Michael again.

As a result of our kicking him out, we are creating a world contrary to his principles: freedom, liberty, compassion, and mercy for our fellow man. 20 yrs ago I was broke scared and umemployed. This song spoke to me on every level. Today I find myself once again broke scared and unemployed, and it now seems so eerily prophetic, and it speaks to me on every level. I agree with so many of you, this is a man after John Lennon's own heart, he would have loved it. I too am afraid God can't come back, because he has no children to come back for...every word of this song is genius....
