Whatever happened to this soprano. She was good... not here of course. She can´t sing this. Why they do that?

Yes...very bad performance, for a so good soprano. Maybe she could do that 10 years before. But I also love her, one of the best Rossini soprano...

If you want to listen the aria in the right tonality ( not 1 tone lower...) And with all the coloratura section has written ( not cut , not changed..) i posted a version here on youtube. I love Cecilia Gasdia but this acrobatic role is really not for her

Do you have also the tenor arias? Cause the are just amazingly difficult...also very virtuosic and i would love to hear Stefano Secco who sings bohème and Don carlo now , doing coloraturas stuff.. :-)

I have a feeling that the coloratura in

'Se a librarsi in mezzo all'onde' was bit too much for him - they didn't even include the full aria in that broadcast. 2 minutes only, he looked nervous and uncomfortable. A shame really because it's a great aria, much better than this one here imho.

Ok. The two last arias are just crazy.. Does he sings "Se la pupilla inferma"? wich have the most craziest coloraturas...( i will put it here) But i can imagine that he feels unconfortable in this repertoire. But he is a very good singer. Just hear his Rosdolfo in la bohème . Just Great!
