Were the people yelling actors or was the audience actually outrage? I can't really picture an audience being so furious that they have to run and scream on stage.

@LadyArania I hate to spoil the show...but the angry mob was made up of volunteers from the audience. If you look closely, two of them are wearing costumes similar to those worn in the original Rite of Spring.
