Only way I can describe it is that youre supposed to slide up to the 12th fret on the D string. Listen closely and youll hear David slide up the fretboard.

althought i don't have the same guitar and amp, it works well with my guitar and amp. it sounds great playing blink-182 and green day songs so it should sound good with angels and airwaves. =)
@TheMartin623 yeah it kinda sounds the same from what i hear but i think it all depends on the amp, pedals, and just basically any other equipment you use! i mean they do have the same pickup....but i honestly i don't prefer this guitar for clean parts...it has like a high treble/mid bc of the df pickup

gain - 9
treble - 10
mid - 7
bass - 5
reverb - 3
