@evans4you that is corner illuminating fog lamp. Only one will light up, in response to the direction the wheel is turned at a >5 degree rotation. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, they all have it.
Diesel engine is probably the best choice for both individual and society. it has amazing fuel economy and less pollution, and also bio-diesel compatible.
