@1234567abc3 Openbsd is the most secure operating system known to man and frankly, Linux is not far behind it. Mac is unix based but it has been exploited enough - plus Mac's have terrible hardware setups and the system's weak in general. ALL IT IS, is flashy, which is what Steve Job wants anyway - it is his main marketing strategy and it works well. However, when the system is shit ill just leave the money in the bank for better things.

That's not true every one hasn't seen the effects, only nerds like us have seen them... Most people don't even know what Linux is or what it can do... Plus I think the effects make the OS more enjoyable to use... But the truth is BSD can do all the same effects, and PC-BSD looks just like KDE Linux... But I like Linux better... I have talked to 100's of people, and only 2 even new what Linux was... Most people still think there are only two OS in the world Mac OS, and Windows...
I'm not saying there shouldn't be any Linux videos featuring Compiz, I'm just saying there is too many. I could look for anything related to Linux and I just find Compiz results.

Linux has "Back in Time" "Elisa Media Center" "HandBrake" "Vuze" "VLC" "Blender3D" "FileLight"
Elisa Media Center looks like Mac Front Row
and tons more apps people could make video's on...
or SHELL Script video's that would be helpful, or video on how to make games, or programs in Linux , and Flash AIR apps work in most Linux distribution...

Why does everyone still make these videos, showing off the Linux desktop? This is old news and everyone already knows about it.
No offense.
Plus it's also extremely pointless using these plugins like wobbly windows, and the cube on KDE.
